Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

No shizit?

So, I just went in and put my veg only light switch on and I swear after only two hours the plants look like they grew already. I think I need two more of these lights or the one 96x3 because on the other side I can hang that light. I'll get it all set up right and take photos.

Is honey still home?
 
Yeah, cus the closet is smaller than I thought. It is 3x5. So on one side I have the two small leds hanging from the garment pole and if I buy the 96x3 for the other side, I can hang it from the other pole and get two plants next to each other, easily. Or just buy two more 48s.

For now, I'm very happy. I have to move my CFLs in there too. I may as well use those also until I get the other LEDs. The nice thing about these is the closet door has been closed and I just checked in there and it is not hot in the least. Now the CFLs will raise the temps, but tomorrow I'm going to Wally's and going to buy an oscillating fan and tiny cool mist humidifier. If it does get too hot in there once the plants grow and fill the space, I can always vent into the attic and have a fan put directly into the ceiling. I wonder if the geckos will like the smell...hmmm.

I was born in SD. Moved to Brooklyn when I was 2 months old.
 
All mine just say led and never mentions lights at all. (saved my boxes) Example= 144LED564273865427

Hey Dennise, You passed me on the number of lights purchased. Ill have to do something about that. :yikes:

Ouch! But thanks for the post! My 48x3w is in transit now, to arrive Monday. Hopefully my UPS driver isn't as inquisitive.

Although I'm legal to grow a few plants, I live in a VERY conservative area where I don't need anything to tip off anyone. So I hope this will get corrected for future deliveries. If I'd seen this label before I'd put in an order, I'd have waited until this got fixed. Actually, the contents of a shipment don't really belong on any box ... unless its required for some reason by the shipping carrier ... whether its el cheapo socks or expensive electronics.

Hi, pacopac. u should buy a Eu plug adapter. or do u have old desk computer, the plug of it can also adapt to our light. :Love:

It would be nice to have paperwork with the lights telling me everything about them. How to use them. Etc. Not a piece of paper or instructions for anything. The lights both fired right up and are really beautiful. So far, no problems, just the packing slip on the box.

I always loved seeing that on my floor from my old LED's :laughtwo: so pretty. But I wonder why it isn't just purple spilling out... maybe because LED's don't produce light the same way other lights do, they emit single photons off in a random direction at a really high rate, the way it was explained to me by my old astronomy professor was something like a normal flashlight sends out blanket waves of light, where LED's emit a focused stream of photons one at a time that's constantly changing directions from the source, really bad for your eyes >.< that was during our Spectroscopy unit..
Does anyone else know for sure Lol? - I got a "C" in that astronomy class hahaha....that guy was tough!

Garden when you are in veg only have the veg switch on then when you are ready to go into flower turn on the bloom switch too. The veg switch must always be on for the fans to work so when you are in veg only the 1 switch (veg) and when going into flower both must be on....

Hello, guys. attention please. :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:)) recently, many friends pay attention to the product name on the packing list. most of u are seems to like we send the light to u more discreet. but u know we must write product name on the box to get through the check of custom. so now i need your choice, which one u are prefer to write on your box? "LED Light" or "LED Aquarium Light". we will make the change according to your choice in the future deliveries. :Love:
