It probably doesn't really matter with tomato plants; those things are like cockroaches. Worse, even - if you eat one of those, the hill beside the local municipal wastewater treatment plant where they dump excess solids from the press in between haul-outs when the EPA isn't looking won't eventually become covered in cockroach plants.
