Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Here are my other girls under the fc6500 gg4 autos pushing a lot of flower inwill keep using Mars thinking of upgrading my tent to a 5x5 also from them for the money u get a bang for ur buck

Very nice plants

The FC6500 does a pretty good job in a 5x5 area.

Not quite the intensity like an FCE bar , I assume the mix of both could be found in the 1000 style.

Enjoy and good luck with your grows everyone.

5 Gallon Airpots filled with coco peat and perlite and a couple of thin layers of perlite as well. Perlite at the bottom to drainage trays.

Netafim watering collars fed from a central (two actually if we want) reservoir by electric pump. Co2 delivery is from tanks downstairs' sprayed by the fans. Just need the electric winches installed to raise and lower the lights because its really hard getting in there if you're normal sized!

I use the FCE4800s x 2 for Veg. I finished some slow Skunk 11’s under them 6 weeks back but I don’t like the slidey self fix bars and cabling at all.

I want to upgrade to Samsung LM301H diodes but Mars still on B

Any news @Mars Hydro?

😅

It definitely saves on shipping as the fce comes in a much smaller pack.

I keep looking and measuring how to get these bars attached to run both together as one.

Just run one of the RJ11 cables (supplied one per light) they look like old telephone/fax cables and join the two drivers together. The first in the chain controls both.

Think the controls are Master and input or something. But yeah clip that cable in putting the cable into the left hand socket on one and the right hand socket in the other whilst they’re off on the driver dial. When you switch back in one of them will control both. Time to complete around 120 seconds.

Here you go - these are my FCE Drivers (FC are the same). We detach and put the drivers outside any tents or rooms to control heat better so that’s why their on the shelf.

Connect the supplied grey coloured Cable with clips one end into Channel Two on the first driver. And then Channel Two on the second driver. This is based on the image from the Mars Website. Can’t find the full manual. But its low voltage. Just swap the two. Can’t hurt it getting it wrong. It just wonmt work as daisy chain.

The cable (RJ11) Is just a telephone cable. Landline thing. You can buy for $1 or whatever 10m long easy.

How does one choose what light to buy there are so many to choose from.
You can choose a light according to your planting area, wattage, PPFD and so on.

Do you mean you want to use several fce lights in series? If yes, you can use a telephone wire in series as NickHardy said, if you don’t have this wire, you can contact our after-sales service
