I had some problem getting things set at first, my current four by four tent has five Romulan grapefruit clones in it from two phenos.
I'm running the tsw2000. It is set 24" from canopy and running at fifty percent. These are in veg...ready to flip in a bout a week.

I think you could hang the light a little lower. 18 "would be more suitable.

@SmokeSara, my FC 3000 didn't come with a user manual, but I've seen 3-4 people unbox now that have had one. For hanging height I've been guessing from the par map on the product description. I brought a few girls inside because of the weather, they do seem to like the light... lots of purples showing. I'm at about 16 inches since 12 had me scared of cooking them. They've got about a month to go, anxious to see how they turn out. :Namaste:

Good morning.

I purchased an FC3000 recently and like the person above, I didn't get a copy of the manual where it tells you how high to hang your light and what to set the dimmer at.

We're currently using the FC3000 in a 3x3 tent even though it's supposed to be for a 4x4 tent and I'm worried the lights might be too bright for the size. Please advise.

The FC3000 is better suited for a 3x3 than a 4x4 I believe. Despite the suggested coverage area I was thoroughly impressed with how well it covered my 4x4 space. I started a run not long ago and germinated at 40% at 24". Once they hit their first set of true leaves I went up to 60%. You could probably do the entire veg cycle without going over 80% and it should prolong the lifespan of your fixture if you do. During flowering I cranked the fixture and didn't get much closer than 16". Honestly, It's a lot of guess work on my part but worked out ok for me in my opinion. I hope the light does well for you and your girls.
