Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Yes I was thinking about it just don't want to waste money if you think its better for that tent to just get a thousand watt hps I might just do that and only run it on high in flower
How about add an SP150? SP150 only 135w. If you buy a new 1000WHPS, it will cost you more, and controlling the temperature at which HPS grows can be cumbersome, increasing your energy costs. So add a sidelight will be a better choice.

Day 66, Recovering strong and steady!
Also made some butane oil in no time. Cant find iso anywhere, i assume government and major businesses bought it all. Anyway turns out i prefer butane method way more, easier, faster, danker.

I was think about those maybe put 1 on each side of the light that would be 800w in there do you think that's to much of work perfect

Hi!
Currently setting up my first grow, and have decided to go with Mars Hydro.
My tent is 1x1x2m (just over 3x3)
The original plan was to use the TS 1000 combined with 250/300w cfl.
Now however, I’m looking at two SP 150s combined. Basically I’m looking for any input i can get, as it’s my first grow.
The biggest pro for SP is that it’s half the price of TS at my local store.
What would you recommend for the best result? Will be growing autoflowers, if that matters.

Those little 150's are awesome! Such a powerhouse in a small package. I own 1 that I use as "supplemental" lighting wherever I'm lacking.
Compact size makes it a perfect fit wherever I move it.
:high-five:

one SP150 can replace 250w HPS, I am worried that 2 SP150 will be too much, I suggest you try to use one first

2 SP150 is a good choice for 3x3 grow area. This is a good combination, and it is better to use two small lights than one big light.

Hey guys,

some lower leaves are starting to lose their green and start turning yellow a bit. The rest of the upper leaves look fine. Could someone tell me if this is the start of a deficiency, or just due to them being older and not receiving much light? Thanks again and stay safe!
Week 6 now. Height is around 50 cms. Ph is 6.3, light distance is 40cms. Humidity is 40%. I still only feed them veging nutrients because they now grow several centimeters per day. Any advice is welcome!

I'm a medical grower in Michigan. I'm a single dad. And I have patients. I run 600w hps. I just bought a tsw 2000. Was going to review it with an Autoflower grow. From start to finish. I could not get a tent to go with it. To expensive. I had 300 bucks on this go round. Alot of that is to do with my video. I was in close relation with chef Derek butt. I have 98 plants I can cultivate. I'm doing trials on this led light to find out if I'm going to use this brand for my two 8×8 tents. I am looking to promote your lights in my community as well as my tri county marijuana co op meetings. It's a local group of Michigan growers. We swap equipment tips seed etc. I would really love a chance to take it to the next level with your equipment! Please let me know!

Hey you have a magnesium and nitrogen deficiency, notice the interveinal chlorosis, green leaf veins but yellow/fading leaf tissue. Mag deficiency starts at bottom of plant because its a mobile nutrient meaning the plant will transport it from old growth to new growth when the magnesium in the the medium gets limited. For the nitrogen, notice the yellow leaf to the right has more of a general yellowing, N deficiency starts at the bottom (mobile), if not fixed will get worse throughout plant causing general yellowing and slower growth.

Immobile nutrients, like calcium, iron, zinc and manganese, there deficiency will show up at the top of the plant, on the new growth, because they are only transported during the transpiration process while the light on.

If its hydro i would increase my cal/mag/iron/nitrogen a bit, if soil same thing, i have CaliMagic that i supplemented with recently in soil. Works great! You can also spray nitrogen ammonium on the leaves and it will absorb it and recover but your plants most likely need more food in general! So increase at least cal/mag/iron/nitrogen(Cali Magic). They will be green in a matter of days!. Also looks like your light is too close, notice the consistent bright green new growth and bright tips on leaves! Raise it up an inch or 2 and wait an hr and look for response. You can always lower back down. Looking forward to seeing them healthy again! :snowboating: :bongrip:

Just put these in for a week or 2 cure, then i will be forced to smoke it!
