Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

And another is from one of our facebook grower. I've been posting his pictures, and videos all the way along. So you know it is true. And he is working in a legal states , a commercial growing company as well, so he won't mind sharing the picture of his own. :D Acurate number hasn't come out yet, we might have some guess. :passitleft:
"
That light is killer. Can't wait to see dry yield. Probably close to a lb dry. But we will see. I wouldn't be surprised by 2g per watt.

"
"
This may be the best indoor growing light on the market period. The spectrum is so good. Big Dense buds.

"

I guess we will have around 400g, what do you say? :hookah:

I’ve done 1 gram per watt under Mars lights.
Hi Penny, how is the holiday? You know if you can get 1g/w from our old lights, you will be easily get much better ones from our SP lights. :D

Hey Sara, I just had two questions .....

1.At max driver setting is that how it gets 250w output? Just wondering how hard its being driven.

2. When are you sponsoring me for a flower show? You know you want to....
6 x SP250's, one room...jungle..... Hehe.

I agree on your growers observation about green spectrum, or a fuller spectrum.
I dont use LED, but CMH, they are also full spectrum lights, the solidness of lower buds will blow you away...trim bags for hash will be a lil sadder.
Anywhere over 85% CRI is pretty close to natural sunlight, so get the umol levels right and you will kick arse.

:ciao:

Good to see such great reviews! I keep seeing these SP's popping up everywhere. Too cool!

Hope you are well!
Yes, they are really awesome lights, love the new technology. Great products speaks for themself, that is true!

Hi Lowrider72, welcome to my thread. :D
Here is a video you want to check how to adjust the wattage of the light:
As to the Sponsership, I don't have the power to do such a big one. But maybe I can help apply for a good deal. Maybe PM me ? :Namaste:

Ok, thanks Smokesara.
So looks like driver at max output is 250w. Thanks! :Namaste:

And thats OK on the lights, but one day I will do a Flower show for you..... Hehe.

Thank you Lowrider72. :D I hope one day you will. The grower who has 5 of our SP-250 now order 3 more when I told him we have stock again, :green_heart: I am sure you will also love our lights in future.

@SmokeSara , I have lowered my TS 1000 lights to six inches above tops . I am five weeks after flip to 12/12. At this point the upward growth slows in the plants I am growing. This is day two of having the lights lower than specified. No burns, leaves are pointed up and not running from the lights. I will keep you posted, pictures later.

Ho Mootah, thanks for the updates and the test feedback, if the growth slows, I think plants are not that happy, height needs to be higher a little?

You are welcome. The slowing down is part of the way these plants grow at this stage of flowering. Now they will put on weight and side buds on the main buds, and more weight. It's the genes, some like my Gwillith, will continue to grow upward until chopped. My plants are very happy.
