Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Wanted to come buy and show the start of the winnings I did on the PotY winnings. Great tent.................... I've used ALOT of others... Most were cheap knockoffs. This is a GOOD TENT. Poles are at least 25% larger making harder to fall down get drunk and break them suckers. ALL in ALL makes for a stronger tent. Over times two....... I have a 1600 Mars in the wind for future lighting,,,,, but for now a 600 wat HID has to work?.... But Me and Miss J felt like acouple monkeys F'ing a football too start,,,,, but was easy to put together.... and soon I'll try the lights..... Keepem Green

Sorry I haven't fired the light,,, a 1600 Mars,,, cept to play and say she lights then reboxed.............. But come the warmer temps of summertime,,,,, I CAN see where she MIGHT be worth her weight in gold??????????;;

BTW I always opted for the 'cheaper' tents in the past. Most either busted corners,,,, and weaker poles broke under my drunken falls, which could be many,,, JK. But this tent has got to have the best welds I seen on the corners and larger pole diameters... And Me and Miss J BOTH thought we did good setting her up easily... 10 minutes? @ monkeys fucking a football??? Nope... We did great. The 1600 light seems to pair well with the 5X5 tent. Least from what Mars claims... And I've never grown under a LED to date......... But this seems like a good one to do it under........... For now,,,, don't fix unless broke is a good rule.............

Sorry, don't ask me................ I'm just talking out my ass.................. But do want to cosign on these tents so far..... I'm an old dog,,,, still preach HID's.... But I'm open to new things,,,,, and 'Might' put this light next to a 1500 watt HID HPS Master Blaster lamp. She runs damn near 200,000 lumms? I run two of these on light rails in the cooler months........... I do understand abit about all the spectrums,,, but? We'll see... And this journal has been here for a awful long damn time?

I am very happy to hear you like our tents, Norcaliwood. :cheer: The tent pole diameter we used is 18mm, it is strong. :yahoo: We upgraded marsII1600, you will see in the market soon.

Will you do a growing comparaison between Led and HPS HID?

:thanks: Most of led lights have no UV, the panel with UV is easier to burn out. I saw some growers use bar iwth UV to used with led.
May I know your grow size and how many watts of your HPS ?

About 3.5 x 3.5 ft Scrog in a 5x4 tent. Might make bigger Scrog next round but the room is useful. I’m trying to get uv in my garden. I tried with horticulture bulbs but they burned my plants. 600w hps my ballast can take up to 1000w

Does the 600W HPS work well for your 3.5x3.5 scrog?
