Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

For a 4'x4' area growing room, you can check out the Mars Pro II Epistar320,it with upgraded chips and driver, use reflective cups,so it will give out the perfect mixed spectrum lights, meet the needs of those who must have the absolute highest quality harvest possible.:high-five:
Something for 4 plants in dwc in a 4x4 tent. Veg for 5 weeks. Lst them. Looking for 8oz min dried.

:thanks:The Mars Pro II series lights will give the best lighting performance compare to our other lights.:cheer:
Get the mars 320 and you'll smash your 8oz goal on a 4/4

Growers usually will choose big bud strain, right? :volcano-smiley:
In theory you should be able to get 800 grams with a 320 in a 4x4, but don't expect that the first runs :) And of course not with any strain.

Hey Sarah.
Mars ever gonna do a cree cob with red and blue led diodes mixed in. Have seen some of these new mix lights on the market and the par and spectrum is off the charts. Mars would be my first choice if they were to develop this kind of light. Cause you know you use the best mix of red and far red diodes. Is this where the new lights you hunted at are going.

:circle-of-love:For this light which is the best series lights among our lights so far, many growers tried it,it is worth the money. As we have our own factory, the price which we provide is the lowest price which we can do.:high-five:
This month is Mars-hydro shopping festival,we have special price for Mars Pro II Epistar320,for Canada store ,you can check on our official website. And as you are 420member,you can use the coupon code:marshydro,to get another 3% off discount. And we have stock at our Canada warehouse ,you can place order at anytime.:welcome:
Ya the 320 looks great. Bit pricey in Canada. If I can find one for a good deal I be all over it.

:circle-of-love:thanks for your help.Though the Mars Pro II series light are the best,Reflector144 also will be a good choice. Both series lights install without glass cover,so it will lower the light reduce:high-five:
Oh I know I'm from Canada as well. They do stock them in Canada so you don't worry about duty fees. Just converting to US dollars. Look into 2-3 reflector 144s if there any cheaper.

:circle-of-love:Mars Pro series lights are install with smart system, with remote control. But we do not recommend this light. Our growers tried this light, the smart system is complicated to use,and their are many functions which actually do not needed.Once the smart system have any issue,it's complicated to reset, otherwise it need to send our China factory to test. :high-five:
But the design of Mars Pro series light is the best, based on that we published Mars Pro II series lights,it's switchable, without the smart system,it's very simple to use,and give the best growing result.:cheer:
What the difference of the 320 pro and 320 pro 2

:high-five:yes,because we use upgraded chips and driver, also with the reflective cup, without glass cover and lesn,so it will make full use of the lights which emitted from the didodes, and penetrate deeper.:cheer::cheer:
So you like use multiples small lights instead of big size light,right?:high-five:
Canadian too. I bit the bullet and grabbed two of the epistar 160's. they are awesome brotha. Great investment. They really push the par and far red for the Bloom phytochromes.

:circle-of-love:This two lights with the totally same built-up,just with different coverage. For growing, multiple lights will be better than one light,it will be easier to install and cover the growing area nicely ,compare to 1 single light.:high-five:
Why two 160 vs one 320

They just did

:goodjob:i guess i know the answer for my last question now: you like multiple small light instead of one big light.:goodjob:
More flexibility and bigger coverage area. You can hang the lights apart and where the light crosses on the edges it creates a higher par value. Allows you to cover 3.5x5 as apprised to 3.5x3.5. When you have lots of space to cover it is more cost effective from a watt draw perspective. Could cover easily 12x3.5 with four 160's would need 3 320 for coverage of same space. Would cost 1000.00 more up front and 750 more watts from the wall everyday.

our engineer is working on that now, they will develop a better remote control system:high-five:
Pro comes with a remote controller that allows you to adjust your spectrum, program timing and so on. The sad part is that it's buggy. That's the reason you should go for the Pro II as that one comes with buttons instead of remote controller

They just did

No im talking a big light with the cree chip with lens and red and blue either 5 watt diodes preferably with a lens. Or maybe even the epistar cobs around. These lights are all over now.
I do however love the new cob light you are going to test. Like you I even love the retro design. Your my test grower too. If it works great it will be my veg room light. Well maybe two.

:circle-of-love:You can check out the Mars Pro II Epistar160 or Cree128,both lights coverage 2'x3',but it will works well in a 2'x4' grow tent.:high-five:,they just with different brand chips, and Epistar160 with IR diodes.:high-five:
What's a good option for a 2x4x5'6 tent
Thinking of swapping out the T5 in my veg/auto tent. Will be my 1st LEDs, I use a 600w HPS In my flower tent

Thanks all

:goodjob:Yes,you are right,CREE no have IR diodes.and among our lights ,only Mars Pro II series with UV.:high-five:
Cree though I believe does not have ir diodes but the epistar does. I have two of the 160's and they are crushing it in flower.

:goodjob:Though a Mars Pro II Epistar 160 also can cover a 2'x4'area,2pcs Mars Pro II Epistar120 will cover it more nicely.:bravo:And this light with U-connector,so you can hang them seperately or connect them together(without dasiy chain).:high-five:
Yeah you could do two 120 epistars and that would rock that tent.
