Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

For a 3x3 I would spend a little extra and get the 900w it has a good draw wattage for a tent that size.

I would go 2 x 300w over the 1x 600w you would get a better spread of light and more height options if say one plant decides to get away from ya a bit.

Yea I didn't even think about adjusting to different plant heights. Not to mention if I grow diff strains that grow at different rates. Thanks for the help!

He is right about the spread and that 900 is better for 3x3, but dont worry if you already bought everything. I had my first grow in a mars hydro 3x3 tent and filled about 2,5x2,5 with 9 NYC Diesel x ruderalis autos in 8L Airpots under a Mars ll 700. I got 7,5 oz/225g/0,73gpw.

I left some space for dehumidifier and vents on the sides. Imho the way to go for your next light is one COB LED per square foot at round 30-50W.

Humm.i tried once, but i already forgot the tastes.it's like million years ago, haha.Yeah, maybe Mr president will give us hard time for visa. But i'm sure he will give to me,i'm good friends with you guys here:volcano-smiley:
I bet you never tasted it and it would make you silly. :) Geez I wonder if Trump will be giving any one visas.....

:goodjob:if i can grow cannabis, for sure i will go with auto...cose i do not need to do too much thing...such as topping and trainning,haha:volcano-smiley:
I only top twice early, I know people who won't top autos at all. Personally I prefer photperiod to auto, but I like experimenting and cross breeding.

:circle-of-love:For a 3'x3'x6' growing area,Mars II 700 is ok,and you can also add some side lights at the corner.:high-five:
Whats you is everyone's opinion on the mars ii series 700w?

Is that a descent light for a 3x3x6 tent or would I be better off getting a different light. The budget is 300

:circle-of-love:The Mars300 draw watt is around 135w,coverage 2'x1.5',Mars 600 draw power around 270w,coverage2'x2.5'.
Multiple lights will be better than one light, you may need side lights in your tent as well.:high-five:
I was wondering if 2 mars hydro 300 watt led (86$ on amazon) would be more beneficial than one 600 watt led (160 on amazon). Obviously price isn't the issue as they are about the same.

For my veg room, 7x9x7 (attic so 7 at the highest point,3 feet at the lowest). I read I need about half the wattage from my flower light(600 watt hps). And if the 300 watt doesn't truelly pull 300 watts then I think I'd need two to keep enough veg plants growing strong for flower.

That's where my question lies, would it be better to have more canopy coverage with 2 300's? Or the one 600 watt led would be just as effective, using less power consumption. Is that true by the way, one 600 will pull less than 2 300 watt leds. I don't know the true wattage.

Yeah, because in flowering stage, grower need to hang the light close to the plants,so the coverage will be smaller, get a bigger coverage light, can cover the area better.:high-five:

:circle-of-love:You can send me the picture of your tent, i can check for you.or you can PM me your purchase information and the link from which you purchased your tent.:high-five:
Hey Sara I recently bought a mars hydro 27"27"63" grow tent on eBay but it does not have a mars hydro logo. All the pics I've seen of the tents have a logo, did I get ripped off?
