Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

Its been awhile since i posted to this thread because I just got mad at the you got want you got and I'm gonna twist the words around to fit the situation.

But the bottom line is this, if someone were to sell me a house and said it had 2500sf in living space and I bought it then later found out that they quoted the outside dimensions of the house instead of the inside dimensions I would be PISSED and would be trying to find a way to get out of the deal or at the very lease a get reduction in the price to compensate the false advertising.

Me, myself, when purchasing a tent, or what have you, I want the internal dimensions of the tent (actual living space) and not the outer dimensions, I think I can figure out what the overall dimensions are just based on that. I think, "like fanleaf" going forward if I can't build it myself, or don't want to, I will buy it from a 3rd party, but I do have the skills to build a room or assemble lighting that would suit my needs as long as the raw materials are available to and for me.

For the measurement,we measured from outside of the tent,and we use centimeter,i will tell our factory and my manager that we may use centimeter only will be better.
For indoor grow,if we give the size from inside of the tent,will it be a problem? I mean after install,it will be bigger.
All of our material for tent cut by machine,we will pick a random one to measure the size.:high-five:

Fanleaf, I watched your video and I can certainly appreciate what you're saying, I suggest that not only are they quoting an incorrect size as much as they are quoting a raw size of parts, the missing sizes will probably add up to the seam overlap, how the got the height wrong is a mystery to everyone but the Almighty powers of the universe.

I realise I don't usually have anything to say around here, but these two issues just bugged the shit outta me and I felt I needed to comment.

:circle-of-love:We didn't give false informations.:high-five:I understand your point now,you guys like to calculate the size from inside ,but we usually calculate from outside.For the grow tent is for indoor grow,if we give the the size for the frameworks support from inside,it will cuase there are some extra parts may not fit-in in your room.
And other grow tent companies also mesured from outside not inside.:high-five:

I have a mars 48 reflector. Been useing it for a little over a month. And I'm pretty satisfied with the output I am getting. I also have a small growing area so it has plenty of coverage.

In winter,this kind of problem may have,cos we need fresh air from bottom of the tent,but in summer,it will not happen,right?:high-five:

We will load container to each of our international warehouses every month,but sometimes the shipping will delay for some reasons,it will cause some goods out of stock.Last time we have one container was floating on the sea for about one month near the port,cos the shipping company applied bankrupt.
We are really sorry for the inconvenience,we always tired our best to avoid this kind of problems.:high-five:

So all this talk about tent sizes actually made me want to measure my tent (not mars hydro tent) and it's 59cm x 59cm x 135cm externally also looked at the package apparently i was suppose to get the under tray and carbon filter hangers never did... also I'm missing a "viewing " window :rofl::rofl::rofl:
 
What would be better 2x mars 300 or 2 x Reflector 48 ??


Also Sara on the website for Reflector 48 it says it's a Mars 2 400 everything else in the description looks fine tho

Depends on your space. What size and shape?

You get ~260w draw combined from the two 300's, and ~200w draw from the two 48x5's but better penetration and better spectrum.

The 300's are quite noisy and the 48x5 is pretty quiet and easy to upgrade with a silent fan.

Two 300's would be good in up to 80cm x 80cm grow space, and two 48x5's would be good in up to 100cm x 50cm.

Hi Yojitoke,thanks for you information,i corrected it just now. May i know your growing space? I would recommend you go with Reflector48,it's switchable and with better built-up than Mars 300.:high-five:
