Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I'd try to find some all red led flowering lights to supplement.

Yeah I wish mars would sell the new led bars they have. If a good price I would get at least 3 or 4 of them. With flower spectrum with ir. I wonder if they would add UVA and UVB to their lights?

I just ordered 96x5 I have 1 already so these 2 should fill my 4wide x 2deep tent pretty well for now.....

for the mars 1600 ive heard people say to turn on both flowering and growing button at the same time?
any tips?
Yes use both always. Switches are kinda pointless. Turning one off turns off half the fans too in my opinion that can lead to over heating. So I'd keep em on. Just my 2 cents though.

I have a 1200 And I vegged with both on. I think either way is fine because they don't need all that light in veg anyway from what I uunderstand. I will say they are really great lights for the price.

Just got home from work to find my new Mars hydro tent and MARS II 1200w light sitting at my front door. -10C outside and not even 20ft from the road.

Sara, can you please make sure your warehouses choose "signature required" when shipping these items out.

:circle-of-love: Hi Happyjoy, three options are good. It's a little difficult to choose the best if you haven't put all into practice. :cheesygrinsmiley:If I was you, I would choose 96x5 to keep the set-up in harmony.:Namaste:
if i would add a 250w hps,
i could definately keep the temps under control now in the winter,
however, in the summer, i would probly need to upgrade my exhaust system, which is another expense.
if i add just a 150W hps, then my room should be able to handle it in the summer.
however,
which option seems best now,
1)150w hps, + plus my current 96x3
2)96x5 + plus my 96x3
3)marsII 400w + my 96x3

all of those combinatinos should run great in the summer without needing to upgrdee exhaust....

:circle-of-love: thank you, aphrodisia, pm sent.:high-five:
If that was me I would go either for the 96 x 5w combined with a 150w hps, or a mars II 400w combined with a 150w hps, or if you can control the temps a 250w hps would be even better. You can never have too much light as long as you can keep temps under control.

Is it time to stop outsourcing the warehouses and pack a soldering iron in a Woman from Mars carry on and send her over to start your own warehouses, direct hire American workers and invest in the American economy? :)

:cheesygrinsmiley: Haha Stoney... both will work. Just be careful of the temp control for 2pcs 250hps.:Namaste:
I'm debating on getting 2 250 hps to add to my set up or 2 more 60x5 300 watt mars leds. First world problems are so horrible lol

:cheertwo:your plants will love them...:cheertwo:

:circle-of-love: Hi geopv, you can turn on Veg during veg. During flower, you can turn on both to get more light. :cheesygrinsmiley:However, as far as I know, most turn on both all the time. Plants also will need red during veg.:high-five:

:cheesygrinsmiley: haha, Glitch, they will not lead to over heating as half the light also turns off.:hugs: But I do agree that more light is better.:Namaste:

:circle-of-love: Hello Sascwatch, it has "signature required". However, the courier staff will leave it at the door if the owner doesn't stay at home...

It shipped via UPS, if the package requires a signature they won't leave it unless they get one. It's a proof of delivery. I could easily have said the package wasn't there when I got home.
