Mars-Hydro LED Grow Light Discussion

I looked back like 35 pages and couldn't find her saying anything about flowering. I see about veg. But figured it don't hurt to ask again to be safe, but thanks
That's a bit harsh. The Mars Hydro thread is thousands of pages long.
I know your answer wasn't aimed at me, but I felt compelled to point out you're not really entering into the spirit of the community by telling people to go away and search.

:reading420magazine: I answered politely the 1st and 2nd times they asked. But I felt it was getting excessive.

I could probably find 2-3 examples of her already telling you 18" flowering 24" veg. Do try to search or take notes so you don't repeat the same questions.

Mine is currently at 16".

So to beat a dead horse that I'm sure has been beaten before many a times. Anyone have a good solution for the long ass hanging wires? That coupled with my ratchet hangers I've lost 16 inches of height. Not an issue ATM but could be later any solutions with pics for ideas?

Well maybe you also understand that when I take the time to personally answer someone's questions, it hurts and feels a bit insulting or disrespectful to see them asking the same question again. He was addressing the question to anyone who has grown with the Mars II 1200w - which includes me. I truly want to help, but it feels like wasted effort when the information is not absorbed. I'll keep helping, but I don't think it's unreasonable to then also ask the inquirer to read a little more thoroughly.

Dude; chill.

I use #8 all thread with clevis eyes and nuts then if you need to you can hang the light at a angle, others use chain, or rope between the posts on the lights

I'm planning on getting back into my old hobby of growing. Many years ago I managed a 700 plant indoor but now I'm facing a learning curve to just do an ultimate 2' by 4'. I'm new to LEDs. I'm thinking the Pro series to get the 600 comparable watts I want. Is there much difference between the cree 128 and the epistar 160 besides price? also I'm a bit concerned that there is no red spectrum

If I would have known asking a question no matter how many times was going to ruin your day i would have just pm Sara. If you get offended so easily maybe you should not be here on this forum because we go over a lot of stuff learning new things all day everyday it's impossible to remember everything. But if you can more power to you. But really chill it was just a simple question.

I use Easy Roller, they are easy to adjust and no excess string hanging around.

Has anyone get their nutes ph just right then add cal/mag? Like the Ph drops from 6.5 to like 5.8 or so. It drops the Ph quite a lot. I would add it just before I watered. I decided to check the Ph after adding cal/mag.

Grrrrrrr man the Stems on my #1 White Widow are so thin and stretchy. I can not make out if it's from the light not being strong enough or of its just a pheno of the Crop King seeds white widow? My lights are about 22 inches away from canopy and it is the only one that looks like it can't hold any buds. Is this from the led or just a pheno

I have a White Widow and it's pretty much the same, although not as large as yours. One thing I think that I see when looking at yours is the onset of heat stress. I can't really be sure from the purple photograph but it does look like the leaves are beginning to 'taco' so you may want to check your temperatures. Optimal temps are said to be between 80f and 85f for LED but I find that certain strains don't appreciate the temps quite so high. I hope this helps, all the best.

You should add all your nutes plus additives and then set the PH CatfishKnight. Also If you use Silica add this first as it will have the opposite effect but is easier to bring the PH down after adding the nutrients. All the best and good luck.

:cheertwo:Awesome, Tris. Happy New Year!:cheertwo:

Yeah my Temps are between 78-82. I don't think it's heat stress the RH I keep at 45-50, lights on and off. My Temps stay about the same to when lights go off. I have a pretty stable environment

:cheertwo::cheertwo:Congrats, Shelby. It's a new year gift!:cheertwo:
Very nice! Coco informed me that I won a 144 x 3 Reflector and I sent the PayPal shipping fee.
Thank-you

I'm in the same area temp wise but I can't keep that temp during lights out. It's cold here right now. I'm dropping to 72-74 same humidity. Been running it for a few days. Have a few girls about to pop up. Some nice northern lights autos. I'm excited for this new adventure.

Yeah I add the silica first then the nutes. But since finding out about the needing of cal/mag with the Leds I just added the Cal/mag and watered I decided to check the Ph after the fact and saw the major drop in ph. Lol.
