Ok so have a pretty important question. I have my Mars ll 1200 and 1 of my 60x5 mars 300w when I point my little laser temp reader it says 107 in some spots . I don't think my lights will last long running at that temp can anyone with lot of led experience chime in and let me know if this is a ok temp.
I think that's an OK temp. I mean that's just a bit above body temp ha-ha. Other sensitive electronics such as pcs easily hit mid 150s with no issueOk so have a pretty important question. What age from seed are those?
Cheers.
Woohoo! I just got the email as I won the giveaway for one of the 100X3 LED lights!! I never win anything so I am so stoked! Especially because I am new to 420mag and literally posted my first post today! Along with I just ordered my 144X5 reflector from Mars hydro a week ago. So now I can't wait for both of the lights to get here so I can review both of them and start my first hydroponic grow in a DWC system. (As I have never had any luck with soil or HPS and MH bulbs.) I plan on doing a grow journal wth both of your lights Mars hydro! Thanks to the assistance of @rifleman who helped explain to me how to start a grow journal and how to post pictures! So far I love it here at 420mag and am stoked to learn from the best! And thank you once again Mars hydro. Going to attempt to send my payment now
Congratulations. I won't the 192x3 reflector light. I'm stoked.Awesome ! Congrats
I prefer it if they send a PayPal invoice via email. But ass they have not been answering emails due to thier vacation I guess I'll just send it PayPal goods and services. And email my address. Ha-ha. I have not paid yet. Giving them some time to respond first. Make sure you pay goods and services so your protected by PayPal if it never shows or some wierd issue. Not very likely but possible.Thank you @Glitch911. Congrats to you as well! Were you able to send your payment through the email glitch?
For a 2x4 foot print I would use 2 mars 2 400 watts. They easily give the 50 watts pers square foot and each covers a 2.5x2.5 nicely so they will be a tad overkill in a perfect kinda way. I love mine in my 2x2 area.Would two Mars II 400w or would one Mars Reflector 144x5 be better for a 2'l x 4'w x 5'h grow space? At first I was leaning towards the 144x5 Reflector series but then I read that the Mars II line has better light penetration? Is that correct? Also, would anything above a Mars II 400w be overkill for this space? Maybe two Mars II 700w (one Mars II 700w won't cover 4' from what I've read)? Thanks for any advice, lots of good info on this site!
Also the 2 mars2 would be more power vs the reflector. And you can adjust each light hieghth independently. But the new reflectors use a 5 watt diode now so penetration should be the same now.For a 2x4 foot print I would use 2 mars 2 400 watts.
