So my Reflector 144 came in today! woohoo! :thumb:

This thing is pretty heavy. What clips or hooks would you guys recommend I use to hold this thing? And also, are the beams inside a grow tent safe enough to hang the light on, the little metal rods that come with the tent? Thanks in advance!
I bought some ratcheting rope yoyo hangers on eBay. They hold 150lb each. Cheap too. 3.99$ with free shipping.

PissDrunx0420 LED Grow: S2:E14Dark Dragon SCROG, ThunderHaze Auto Weight....... just another weekly update on the garden

So I broke down a bought another 60x5 300 old model. For the price and how good they are i could not pass it up. Amazon gave me a $100 free gift card last week and that's what I used to pay for it so it was technically free and that makes it the best led light on the market lol. I might order 1 more after the new year to go with the Cree 256 I am probably going to get. I wish they had the cob led for the Mars ll series. Sara do you think that will ever happen? The Mars ll series getting the cob? Or is that going to be what differs the pro series from the rest other then the remote

O and I also fixed the pin holes in my tent with liquid electrical tape. I forgot who recommend that, but it work well and restored my tent to like new. So thanks

:circle-of-love: welcome to this forum, kaediodr. You will love here. The coverage of Reflector48 is 60x60cm. I am afraid it will not be able to cover your grow space and 3/4 plants. :Namaste: Reflector96 is a better choice, which covers 60cmx90cm. Go for Reflector96 :cheesygrinsmiley:
Hello everyone.
I'm new to this forum
Nice to be with you
I have a cabinet (86 X 57 X 170 cm)
I am uncertain which led lamp buy
With Mars Hydro Reflector 48 can be able to grow 3/4 plants?
the Reflector version 96 will have many more advantages?
Thank you in advance

:thanks: thanks, randy. :hugs: If I was the leader of several people, it's easy to adjust according to the situation. :dreamy: But this is a factory of hundreds of people, every decision-making is through thorough consideration and preparation. Some projects are just too big to fall. The only thing we can do is to improve it and make it better.:Namaste:
Hi Sara, You always handle things no matter how upset people on this board get I think we all just wish it was your company because you take responsibility Now not the end of next year.

I personally thank you for commenting that Flyboy's tests were not the only ones that did not match the engineers results a lot of people would have left that out and tried to hide it. But you commented and compared the two results and will look for an answer that attitude is why many of us here return for our lighting needs.

:cheertwo: thanks for the updation, super~~ So far so good!:cheertwo:
Well I got one of my 3x3 tents set up next to the 2x2. It is a tight squeeze but it just fit. Now I can go back to my perpetual garden. 4 more seeds put in to germinate. A Blue Kush, a Cali Jack, a Critical and a Strain hunter money maker. Once they pop they will be put in the small tent under a 400. The other girls have been moved to the big tent with the 900. :peace:

:circle-of-love:thank you, Stoney, it's so kind of you. I am really happy to see MarsII1200 work great with your plants.:circle-of-love:
I know there is no intention to miss lead. My results speak does them selfs. My girls have blown up since I put them under the Mars ll 1200. I actually feel you guys are probably one if not the most honest led company around. I understand diffrent testing equipment will give diffrent results, but I don't think other people will. It was more ment to be sarcastic saying you mislead me. For the quality of light and the results they put out. I do not feel mislead in any way sara.

:bigblush: you are so sweet.:cheesygrinsmiley:
Wow so I'm good than. I was worried that I was going to damage something with the Humidity getting to 80% when light go off. I have corrected the problem but was just wondering. Thanks for the reply. I am loving the new Mars 1200 Thanks for all the help and replies. You an the value of your lights is why I will stick with Mars

:thankyou: thanks for the advice, randy. I have kept it down.:high-five:
Hey Stoney humidity in young plants should be kept between 40-70% but when you start flowering 40-45% is max or you will start seeing bud rot and nothing is sadder then being near the end and all you fill is a trash bag. Remember Fans are you friends:xmas:

:thumb: that looks great.:cheesygrinsmiley: Cat, you have never stopped improving your room.:laughtwo:
Ok I broke down and my 8x10 Grow Room is not totally enclosed now.
I put in a Temp Control Device, using small usb cooling fans for entertainment centers, that will come on say at 80 degrees or any Temp I set it to, and start pulling air from underneath my house which will be a Cooler Temp. Probe is at the top of the room above the Mother Plant Room/Closet.

Here is the 1.5'x1.5' box I built and connected to the underneath vent going under my house.

Closer View & Yes I have a filter inside of it...

The other usb controlled fans are at the top of my 8x10 Grow Room

Outside of room looks like this.
20151214_085552.jpg

Just by using those small Usb temp controlled fans my Temp hardly ever goes above 82 degrees in the Room Now.
Average C02 in the Room is just like outdoors which runs 350 to 500 ppm.
So I might never have to use my Co2 unit now at all.
Which is fine, unless it drops below 350 ppm in the room then my Co2 unit will kick in to supply it up to 600 ppm.
Not up to 1500 ppm. :)
Trying to keep the Room as normally as possible.

:thanks: thanks for sharing, Miky. Even thought it's your first post, you are "old" enough here, haha.:laughtwo: Speaking of design, I feel Mars Pro series is designed best. It also has the reflection board and the cob mixes the spectrum better. It will run cooler because of vents on the board. The blow from the vent is even cold. I have felt it with my hands. :Namaste:
Hi all,
I have been following this thread since around page 250 soaking up all the info shared. Thank you all for the input over that time. Thought I would share some input myself now. I have all but the smallest reflector model in both 3w and 5w, Mars II 1200, and the smaller Cree. Presently I feel the best bang for the buck by far are the reflectors. Particularly the new 5w version. I have both. I have seen the reflector perform equally as well as the Mars II now that they have been upgraded to the 5w chips while putting out less heat. From observed performance the 5w reflectors are definitely in the sweet spot for not only performance, reliability, and value. I could have had 2 144x5 reflectors for the price of the smaller Pro Cree. Would've given me twice the coverage. So far I have not tried to program the cree, just running it on the apparently 80% base setting plugged into the same timer as my other lights. Remote is PITA and will not buy another light needing a remote or programming. That being said the cree is a well built nice light for those who want fool around with that.
I feel the light version that would be a simple but great performer would be a 144x5 using Cree chips! From what it sounds like on here the reception would be extremely favorable for something like that.

:circle-of-love:hello Fiete, as your grow area is square, I advise you to choose MarsII700 or MarsII900. Both of them will be enough for 80x80cm.
Hello :)

i am search for a LED Light with good Spectrum and great Bud Quality!!! Are the Mars good for that?

I here it is not the Best Light but manny are very Happy with the Results. How laud is the Fan from this LED Lights? I hope they Fix the Laud Fans with quit Fans? Laud Noises are allways a Problem for me! How much Reflector i need for 80cm x 80cm?

a update in tried to get a pic of the real color but it would only upload the one. They are doing great. 2 more weeks of veg and bloom begins I will harvest on day 63 of flower maybe day 61

:circle-of-love: Hi Stoney, the sqaure fee for your tent is 10.89sqft (3.3x3.3). The draw power of MarsII1200 is 540w~555w. Then divide 555w by 10.89, you will get 51 w/sqft. If it's over 50w/sqft, it likely requires CO2 supplementation and heat issues would need to be adequately addressed. :yummy:
Hey how do you figure out how many watts per square foot you have my tent is a 3.3x3.3x7 and I have a Mars ll 1200 running veg and bloom switchs in flower I will be adding the Mars 60x5 300 watt old model for the little extra boost of spectrum and power.

:thumb: yes, it will help some.
How I figured mine was I have 4 square feet. Divided by actual wattage for the mars 2 400 is about 190 watt. So 47.5 per square foot. Anything over 50 is basically waisted energy. But as flyboy mentioned. We should supplement on the red spectrum a bit. And the older 300 will definitely do that.
