No but I heard the routes need time to develop so few hours of night is recommended it makes sense to me.

Great news!!! I just got news that the Mars Pro II Epistar80&Mars Pro II Epistar120 will arrive at our USA warehouse next week.

Sara i am thinking of upgrading my light with one of those Pars pro 80 in a not so distant future. How is the light disposal compared to the two 48x5 reflectors i am running and how does it run tempreture-wise in small confined spaces such as my 2x3 ft closet? and does the spread of the light mosly resemble the spread of the reflector series or the marsII series? is it with glasscover on the hole surface or is it just covered lenses?

The spread of the light is not as good as the reflectors the heat should be about the same as the 400w since it has the same amount of diodes. Maybe a bit less more like the 300w little ones because they have better fans/heatsinks. Have a look at the par value they are posted on the mainsite The 120s seem like the better of the 2 when compared with actual spread.

Great news!!! I just got news that the Mars Pro II Epistar80&Mars Pro II Epistar120 will arrive at our USA warehouse next week.

I was wondering if anyone had these yet, I came looking for grow journals and I didnt see any yet. Going to try upgrade this spring for my new seeds!

Question from a newbie, please be kind.. I have built a room total dimensions 8'x7' so 56 sq ft, I will not be utilizing the entire area because I have a walk way down the middle approx 2'x8', only using the sides for growing area, so I'm looking at approx 40 sq. ft.. / 20 sq. ft of growing area per side. So my question is, will 4 Mars Hydro reflector 96's / 2 on each side of my room be adequate lighting for a good grow? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Give smoke sara a chance she will have your answer surely . She will give you multiple options that would all be highly recommended by her. I only got two 300 watt #marshydro led lights one from eBay. But got another 300 watt one coming. In a 2.5x2.5x5' tent. New to growing myself. Give her a day to catch up on post she is awesome. ✌✌

I haven't used that cycle sara. I use 18/6 or 19/5 then 12/12 on preflower then last two weeks I go to 14/10 then before I cut to Harvest I shut down for a complete day . Then cut to upside down dry for two days. With fan on in cool dark room. Then trim then let dry for another day open basement with a dehumidifier on. Then air tight container for two weeks before smoking. Opening to circa late air in . Keep in dark cool room when storing fir cure days. 420 GIRL video instruction high times winner. Girl.

Usually multiple lights will be better than one light.But Mars Pro II Epistar80 is better than Reflector 48.
First,Mars Pro II Epistar80 use reflection cup,Reflector48 us relfection board,which will reflect maximum light back to the plants
Second,Reflector48 diodes use lens,Mars Pro II doesn't add lens so as to output the complete light as much as possible and penetrate deeper,and Mars Pro II will not have lens problem
Thirdly, unlike Reflector series, Mars Pro II has vents around the panel, so as to dissipate the heat more effectively.
Mars Pro II Epistar80 draw power around 170w,Reflector 48draw power around 102w
Both of this two lights do not have glass cover on the surface.

Compare to Reflector series,the light spread of Mars Pro II will be better.Both lights do not use glass cover,but Mars Pro II series diodes also didn't install lens,and with ungraded chips,with better penetration,can cover bigger area,compare with Reflector48.

Mars Pro II Epistar80&120 didn't arrive at our warehouse yet,but it's the same series with Mars Pro II Epistar160&320.
The only difference is that Mars Pro II Epistar80&120 add with U-connector function,which enable you connect multiple lights together as one group.

hi charlesgun,welcome to mars-hydro family. so it's about (2.5'x8')+(2.5'x8'),2pcs Reflector96 on each side can only cover 2'x6'area,you may need 2pcs Reflector144 on each side,it will cover 2'x8'area.

Yes,most growers will go with 24/0 or 18/6 in veg,12/12 in flowering,but not many grower will do 24/0 the whole growing.I will ask that friend how did it goes with the 24/0 growing.
