Mars-Hydro - Formerly TopLedGrowLight - Customer Service Review

What rule I'm hearing regarding headroom is..."divide your headroom by two (2) and make the switch to flowering when the plant reaches that height..."

That sounds about right. Depending on the strain, will usually veg between 4-8 weeks. My C99 did well with a short veg time. When I am growing Blue Blood, I find longer veg is better. I try to find the strains that work best for my MS and learn what they like when they are growing. :peace:

I wish I could get my bride to try my medicine. She has MS as well. She refuses to inhale on my bubbler, but tolerates my habit as long as I stay in the garage. I plan to grow her some choice CDB lovelies one day, and make her some baked goods.

Blue Blood is the strain of choice for MS. 2 to 1 THC/CBD ratio. Look at the CCO oiler and tacking treads. CCO has helped my MS dramatically. If she does want to smoke, tinctures work well too. I usually have a small bottle of VG tincture with me at all times. :peace:

:circle-of-love:Hi dfellows, we are very frank with our warranty and follow it strictly. You can have a look at our warranty procedure here led grow lights-Mars Hydro Premium Warranty Not every forum is as reasonable and friendly as 420.:cheesygrinsmiley: MarsII has ever suffered from lens problem and we have corrected it. Reflector144 differs from MarsII in design. You can make a choice based on your situation. :high-five:
Seems they have warranty problems on a couple of discussion forums. They were shut down on a forum where they had been on for 6 months or so and had had over 60 pages of discussions. All due to warranty! I have been looking at getting a light but guess I will go HID. Is this problem with all their LED's or just the Mars 2? I was wondering about the reflector 144's.

lol it's not me... Haha, it's too difficult for me... I would also prefer to send it to the repair service center. :cheesygrinsmiley:
I just watched the power supply, diode, and LED changeout video. Is that Sara at the soldering iron? Sounds like the mic needs some solder too. I'll be shipping my unit to the service center thank you. My interest is reducing heat and energy cost. Thought I'd try the LED thing, and verify the results some claim. I want to be a believer...

:circle-of-love:thanks for the kind words, super~~~You are so sweet!:love:

Old thread... but i didn't want to start a new one. Does anyone know how the Mars 300 is? Does it last? It's really cheap now on ebay for $70. Not sure if i should get a few of those or if i should just get ONE of something more expensive. I don't want to play around with broken lights 3-6 months into use.

Lots of people have had good luck with the 300s. Since they upgraded them to 5w chips, the are a good value. They are not built as well as the newer models, but the price is hard to beat. :peace:

Hello Zero,Thanks for your message, I do believe most of growers tell me the truth that they are happy with our lights. We also welcome growers to give us the truth that our light can not work well on their plants, then give us their idea to improve our products. We are a LED grow light manufacture in China. I can say 98% LED grow light are made in China, so tell a manufacture the truth in China is better than a retailor in the USA. We know what we can do. thank you. hope to get email about how to make the light better from you.

For sure #SmokeSara. Mars Hydro's lights are amazing. I own 4 lamps and I love them. I do however have an issue with the Mars Pro 160 lamp. I wrote about it in my blog - If you or anyone have any ideas on what my problem could be - please let me know :)

Hi Sara I am on my first grow with a Mars-HydroII 900w and noticed I have 4 dim red bulbs and wondering if this is normal. I haven't used all the veg/grow together untill tonight. Could you let me know please and thanks.

Most of the Mars Hydro II lights include 1 or more Infrared diodes, and these emit light that isn't visible to the human eye.

Has anyone posted the cause and fix for this type of light problem? I have the same issue with a 1.5 year old 700w, an entire set of diodes are lighting up very dim, but it's the same problem no matter which power supply/driver they're hooked up to, so it's not a driver or diode issue.

Is there a specific fix for this type of issue where an entire region stops working, but the power supply is still good?

And I'm happy to say that I had some great results with the Mars Hydro II 700, however I was hoping it would have held up for more than 1 year of sporadic use.

I am now also testing Morsen lights, but the first 2 800w (double 5w led, ~240w true) I received had 10+ diodes not working when first turned on, and then a day later an entire region went out on one of the lights, similar to the problem I have with the Mars after over a year...

hi Ken worth,Mars II 900 install 4 IR diodes, which looks dim.
If you want to confirm it's IR or not,you can send pics to service@mars-hydro.com.my colleague will help you with it.:high-five:
