Yea fish can be really expensive and I hear ya freshwater is so much easier to take care of then salt but the coral that thrive in salt is so rewarding. I miss having a tank around, maybe get one going again someday.

Sorry all for the lack of updates, I've been sidetracked with other hobbies..

Things are going great, they have been flowering for about 9 days now -- filling in nicely. I imagine another week or so stretch, Ill try and throw some pictures up sometime..still kinda boring although the hairs are starting to get longer.

I feel the same way..one day I'll go back to saltwater reef no doubt.

Getting there, almost completely filled now..I think I should be good by the time stretch is over. Congrats on MotM btw. I haven't been around much lately and missed it!

Yo GF, I used both Dynamite (red) and OC+ on my first grow. The beginning of this grow I used some OC+ when I was in mini-hempys but got rid of the majority of it when I transplanted into their final containers. Using liquid nutes now, Botanicare mainly.

Update time!

I flipped the switch on 2/27/11 to 12/12. I also purchased a new hood from HTG and I love it. Currently not using the air-cooled feature, but as soon as summer hits I'll get it rigged up. The thing is practically twice the size of my last hood, barely fits in the cab..but I guess thats a good thing, has very nice coverage.

As you can see, she is filling the screen nicely. I am expecting another week of stretch so she should be able to fill it completely, tonight will be day 13 of 12/12. Once the p0rn begins I'll start updating more often with pics and whatnot.

I continue to be amazed at the size of Ms. AlienD, she is basically a 2'x2' sized plant..fun stuff! She is taking in nutes at an impressive rate..with zero burn, I had more burn last grow using OC+ ! I went grow nutes for week 1 12/12 and have now switched to 1/2 grow/bloom.

Last feeding:
1 gal R/O water
7 1/2ml Cal/mag
pinch of Epsoms
8ml Hygrozyme
10ml Liquid Karma
7 1/2ml Botanicare PBPG
7 1/2ml Botanicare CNS17 Bloom
7 1/2ml Neptunes Harvest (seaweed +fish)
1ml Snow Storm Ultra

Thanks Krip! Things are finally back on track here, starting to get excited for the up-coming weeks.

I'm actually liking this single Scrog, when at first I hated it. It takes me ~1 hour each time for training, might take a bit more for the final week. The worst part about it is the fact I have to work underneath the light, as opposed to my mod. Scrogs where I would take them out to train.

Really interested to see the difference in yield when the time comes, it may be a deciding factor if I go with the mod scrogs or not.

I see you have a new journal started, I'll make my way over there shortly. :cool:

Awesome job Marley!!! You're making that plant look like a topiary! You've got a great future in Cannabis Landscaping... although I hear the theft rate can be somewhat high.

Seriously, that is an optimal use of space and with the added Sun you're really going to benefit.

I know what you mean about the journals, I've been sick and it takes forever to catch up.

What hood did you get? I'd like a bigger one myself, what footprint does it cover now and how far off the top of the plants are you keeping the light?
