Manifolding

nice hink, fun to see others experiments too lol

well i had a bad night, seems i didnt learn my jumper lesson, literally wanted to shoot myself as the temp gauge fell to the floor and as i leaned over the critical tge dreaded sleeve struck again fk sake

this was her (and i believe she is showing she is a she now) this morning, and doesbr look like the limb will make it, bit of tape and propped it up but i fear i snapped too far and for a second time she will lose a limb, poor girl is being butchered, god knows what she will produce at the end lol

dammit

Heya buddy looking good so far. It always hurts when you snap a bit through carelessness. Shou,d see the nick of a couple my current ones. Been split in half, snapped in half and one of ems missing half the plant. Dangers of drunk gardening though lol.
Just started my next lot and got plenty veg time so gonna give mainlining a go. Never looked much into it but your method looks spot on so I'm gonna follow along and give it a try too. They should be breaking ground tomorrow so I'm not too far behind.
If that's coco your e in, you can add liquid scillica to the mix and it makes the stems turn to rubber. Much better for training purposes. Makes it pretty difficult to snap bits. Not for soil grows tho.

cheers buddy, oh the hazards we pose lol i dont drink tho so no worry of drunken mishaps lol bit like a bull in a china shop i am sometimes need to remember to touh and move gently lol

the mainlining seems ok,it adds a lot of veg time though! i think ive added 3-4 at least onto mine with it.

i have read a bit about silica actually must order some, will make sure to have it stocked for next batch, gonna germinate this weekend i think lol

had some fun last night training lol few pics

in there new home and finished with cutting so just managing height and lettig them grow now :)

I've been growing for a year now. But this is my first quadline and first two LST only attempts.
45 days, 1.5gl Hempy Bucket. Not flipped yet.
Not sure what to think. Looking good to me.

cool manlooking alright
i might try the quadline next time round, looks like it might be less invasive and destructive than manifold method i usedthis time, it has added 3 weeks or more veg time easy lolquadlining doest look likeit will be as stressful process onthem lol

It's because of posts like this that I find and learn new things. It makes me realize just how much I don't know lol but also how much there is to learn. I think it's great and I thank you. Best of luck to you all in your gardens!

cheers gxl, i started it as a photo diary to document a noobies experiments at techniques wayyy afvanced for his level lol
but hopefully can be a good demonstration of the process start to finish :)

so after 2 days lets see how they’ve bounced back

i think it was @Chris Scorpio mentioning somewhere pipecleaners, those things are amazing for such stuff!!! lol

the critical isnt so pretty i know, after losing a limb and nearly a second, and being a little more spindly than the gas, indica and sativa differences and/or strain showing, she looks like a little spaggeti junction lol shes lovely tome though :D

So, wait, can I just grow the plant to her 6th node or so, and actually cut her back down to her 2nd or 3rd to start a mainline with a fatter trunk, lets say if I was too late to start early?

I have an Unknown strain that I topped at the 6th node. Shes doin fine, adding the new growth, but i want to manifold one of my White Widows while they're still young. Seedlings actually.

Great effort mate, but I cant lie, they look so disheveled. No disrespect, I'm a bit OCD for real, so I noticed. Im about to start my very first manifold ever and I'm a bit apprehensive about it.
none taken lol the pics quoted were as lights came on, so they were still perking up maybe? also i have had a lot of airflow in their tohelp with current temp and rh issues which ihopeto have sorted in the coming days,

with regards your first post
there is a couple of techniques
i went with the topping to 2nd andcleaning underneath, you can top to fourth, leave nodes 3/4 and clean 1/2, this is quadlining
i think its better to start earlier so they dont get tooo tall too early and easier to manipulate and the stork will be think and short.

this has added at least 3 weeks veg time on these. at least, bare that in mind also

Ok, I see. Quadlining. Is there a good place to get good information about the other manifolding techniques you know about?

Thanks for reminding me about the extra veg time, I forgot all about it for planning's sake.
