Magicbear's June 2020 Indoor Soil Grow

We start out with pics of GL#2: looks like she is the runt for now. First runt was #3 then #4
and it changes. Of course they all have received attention at different times so, that might
be the cause. Lastly is a group pic #1 and #2 in the back, left to right; front is #3 and #4 L to R.

All you great people have wonderful day. Oh #3 and #4 get the same feeding tomorrow, 1/2 gal.

I usually check in on my grow before lights out and me going to bed. I was shocked and
surprised to see what I would call a quad; normally a result of purposely LST training. So
I got out my trusted 6" lawn staples and went to work. It was GL#3 which I topped early.
Top at node 5 and cut node 1. First pick is after LST last night. I discovered 6 branches,
probably nodes 2 and 3 plus top split new growth so, now I have a STAR (6 legs). For me
this is a beautiful thing. Been trying to do one forever. Second pic is this am a few minutes
ago. Yes we have a group pic also. More things to do later on. GL#1 really monster growth.

Yeah happy Sunday to all. I been busy with other things and just keeping an eye
on plants. Covid in Texas has slowed my VA IRRRL refi on my house. Finally an
Assistant Manager got a hold of me and promises to expedite things.

Just have one group pic today. Watered/Feed all the girls yesterday and last evening.
I think my new water schedule is going to be no schedule!! WHAT?? Yep Mother Nature
doesn't have schedule. My idea is a variable schedule; not one day, not two days and
not three days but a combination. I know I don't want root rot; I know I don't want
plants to dry up. Also water/feed at different times of the day. It is a new plan waiting
to happen.

I will also have to vary the amount of water based upon number of days in between and
the plants needs taking into consideration a rotation for nutrients and just water. All these
ideas came from another more experienced grower that I read up on. Things are
going to get more interesting around here.

My oldest plant (GL#1) is 6 weeks today (42 days). Because I am doing multiple tops I will
Veggie all these girls at least 10 and maybe 12 weeks. The flower time estimate is 8/10
weeks so, we have a lot of time to go. Shedgrow will be done soon and LandonC is the
same as me but in more of a hurry (1st grow). Nitro is just out of the starting gate.

Damn I love this shit. Wish I was 30 again. :nomo::idea::nervous-guy::thumb::welcome::party:

Plants are looking really good. Im not for sure what you mean about the watering schedule. In mother nature they are in the ground and not small pots so they wont dry up as fast and can withstand longer periods of time waiting for rain. My past experience is there is a pretty narrow time frame for watering. In flower I have to water every other day or my plants were drooping down to the ground. Depends on your pot size and plant size. Keep up the good work!

One new group pic; I put a filter on phone to see how it works for later in the grow
during flower light change to HSP. I keep thinking (don't mess with the plants) but
I can't help myself. So I was on garbage patrol cleaning up big fan leaves and other
stuff down low on the plant. Now some good air flow can get to the pots and base
of the plants. Repositioned all my yard staples and tie downs to allow plenty of
light into the center of the plants

After all that I decided to water/feed all the girls. !/2 gal each plant with Fox Farm Trio
Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom and Open Sesame with CalMag to make all the girls
smile; 1/2 dose of each ingredient Have a Great Day :welcome:

Hey man , please check out @Emilya for watering. She gives some great advise ✌️

WOW! I have been gone for a week. Researching and leasing a new car while keeping
up with my plants. All the plants look pretty good Pics coming later. I called a friend who
I give freebie smoke; to help me up pot transfer a couple plants. going from a 3 gal frabic
to a 7 gal fabric. I never went this big before so the help was welcome. Remember I am
disabled Vet on 24/7 oxygen plus being 74 yrs old. HEhehehe you can stop crying now.

GL#1 & #2 were both done sucessfully. There in the back row in the pics left to right. Since
being in bigger pots they need more water (1 gal each) and nutrients this round. Gave them
a teaspoon of Superthrive vitamins to help with stress. Also Fox Farm Trio GB, BB and TB 1/2
dosage per Fox Farm chart. I left and adjusted all LST work and began to defoil lower leaves. :thumb: :welcome::party:Oh pic of new car and lunch too! LMAO

Hello!! Right now I am higher than *&^%^$^%$ The White Widow has my brain!
I brought along some Jack Herrer and my favorite bong to keep the ride going. Makes me
remember why we grow a weed with so much passion.

Expert flower growers spend their whole life trying to perfect a particular Species. Who
has the perfect Tulip or Rose?? mj breeders are on the same path with the same passion!

The short simple answer to why we grow is the pleasure from the flower; yes a weed flower!
It goes way beyond that: There is a growth process from begin to end that keeps you inspired.

We can't forget the beauty: trichomes glistening, fan leaves praying and spiraling white roots.
With some shades of purple blending in either from the light or the heart of the plant itself.

Being High or Stoned is also a beautiful thing; giving you the time and vision to reflect..
Did I mention how great the Smoke is when the growth process has been a success??

Wait a minute does anyone know what time it is? Wait it really doesn't matter does it?
Don't worry I already took care of my plants earlier. No I am not coming down but just
on a plateau. 5:55pm guess it time for some reality (TV) or something. :hookah::welcome::passitleft:

Another Monday and a great day it is. My friend came yesterday to help transplant my
last 2 plants (Gelato) into 7 gal fabric pots. All went well with nice root structure so no
falling apart when undressed LMAO. Got some picks of the happy ladies; one from
last evening and a couple from this am. 2 more weeks before I go to flower stage;
change the light to 600w HPS and 12/12 light cycle. Gave them 1 gal water with Superthrive
for stress plus CalMag, Open Sesame and Great White for root growth. :yahoo: :slide::welcome::party::tommy::theband:
