Jack Herer, White Widow and unknown sativa dominant known as Mary
Re-veg and Clones

So the main thing that got my attention this morning was the stretch of some of the clones, particularly, the Mary girls. Now, if I could see some stretch on the WWs, that would be great. I haven't measured anything in the tent and I'll do that today for comparison.

I went to Lowe's yesterday and bought a cheap hand held pump sprayer, some 1.75 gal pots and some Alaska fish ferts. Ish is gonna get interesting for the next grow and I'm going to begin a foliar spray of Big Bloom today. I just have to mix and wait for lights out. Lighting schedule has been 12/12 since April 30.

The top of the tent has some head room and if I see any height issues I'll brush plant tops with a broom handle which is said to assist in controlling them.

So I got really high this morning through 1 bowl of Sugar Mango. Then I had 2 hits of Pineapple Express. My mood was not good early as it rained all freaking night and I'm a little tired of smoking my cigs under an awning or car port. Humidity in this house went above 70% RH this morning so the dehumidifier is working overtime again.

Anyway, my mood is much better after the mixed wake and bake.

Looking good, Jim! Other than the two smallest Jack Herers, the clones are coming along well. Those two little guys just seem to be having a hard time getting their footing. The reveg girls are looking good, particularly Mary. How long are you going to wait to but them into bloom?

Nothing like having some quality mood enhancers in the stash to brighten a rainy day! The sun just came out here for the first time in almost a week. I hope you are seeing some sunshine too.

Have a good one!

Hi SlowToke....Yep. I have those two and possibly another JH that will soon be culled. Actually, I'm going to put them in the ground behind my house. They will not get a full day's of direct sunlight but they have an opportunity to grow and I'll get to visit them. Last year's guerilla grow didn't fare well at all as my plants were attacked by critters of some sort.

Light schedule has already been changed to 12/12 end of April. So working on 7th day now. Some pistils have already developed. I'm still considering topping some of the clones. It's all an experiment. I was going to give them a foliar spray of Big Bloom this week but rather fed them yesterday with Earth Juice humic acid and Budswell. I wanted to make sure that the soil of the clones were completely moistened to runoff so the roots will seek nutrients through the drying period. Well, it just makes sense to me.

Thanks for stopping by. More details later.

Pistils are forming on almost everything. I'm a little reluctant to top any of the clones because I find myself again in unknown territory. Dr.Ziggy probably has some experience here so I may bother him soon.

As noted earlier, I decided to drench clones in humic acid (2.5 ml) and (1 TBS) Budswell per gallon mix rather than go with the foliar feeding of Big Bloom. We'll get to the foliar feeding soon as I need to experience that also.

So that's it folks. :thanks: for stopping by. I sure hope you'll get your tokes, hoots and dabs frequently today. I'm going to enjoy the sun since I haven't seen it for a week or so.

Always something new for me when growing this beautiful plant. I'm still very much a newbie grower. During my last grow I think I finally found a couple ways of keeping clones alive. I now have 12 clones and 3 re-veg girls from my first tent grow so I'm going to flip the whole shooting match to 12/12 and see what happens.

That's what I wrote on the day I started this journal. How true this is. I believe there is only a few things more satisfying than the grow. The end product of all those flowers in jars is amazing to me and I've been enjoying it for 48 years now and it just gets better as I've been able to expand the strains I've grown or tried over the years. A cross of Big Bud and Skunk has gotten me in a wonderful mood this morning and I'm diggin' it.

Inside the tent this morning, I realized I did a great job of drenching the clones on Friday. I'll have to do a similar job on the re-veg girls when they become dry. I moved the two under-performing JH clones to the great outdoors and rearranged those remaining.

Since I've never grown from clones before, I find something new each day. Five fingered leaves will get you going as will the stretch that I noted this morning. Wow. Boom.....Shake the Room. Oh, and the other thing that's really got me going this morning.....My plants are still green. No chem nutes so far and I'm wondering if I should eliminate the Overdrive during this grow. I have a way of brewing a tea now so we shall see.

Jim, how did I miss this? You should have pinched me earlier. Everyone looks healthy and strong. Your soil mix appears to be doing the job. I'll have to jump back and check out your recipe, (I say that as though I would know what I was looking at) but did you run it past the guys on the soil discussion thread to see if it's good to carry you through to harvest?

I'm going to read through, since you're a week ahead of me my magical companion. I'm here for the duration. :circle-of-love:

You know I'm not going to ask the guys unless I run smack into a wall. I don't really expect that the mix will make it through harvest without some assistance. I'll be giving them some bat and sea bird crap and fishy ferts and stuff like that. I'll never become a Master Gardner because I'm too experimental. The only thing I understand is light, water and give 'em some nutrients or some way to get the goody goodness from the soil. When I say understand, I just mean I know it's essential. LOL

Jim, the color and vigor are outstanding in these clones. You have me so excited about my own garden now Jim.

All caught up now. I'm so glad you have a place to post all your lovely pictures again. It's such a treat to wander through your tent with you. I gotta hit you with some rep points for such a wonderful presentation.

You're right, it's much better with a friend. :passitleft:

Looking good, i'm subbed in. Dunno how I missed this thread lol

It's curious how your eyes went for those two White Widow clones. I like it when you're excited about your garden. I know you've been engrossed in your studies but at base, the plant is where we begin.

Jack Herer, White Widow and "Mary"
Re-veg and Clones

Jack Herer makes it back into my grinder this week. My first bowl this morning made me a little wobbly. Moving around the house, wobbly, and drinking coffee is a little dangerous.

I could tell late yesterday that the bigger re-veg girls were going to need some water this morning. They've already had 1.5 gallons of straight water with pH adjusted to 6.4. My tap water is ~8.0 pH and I use lemon juice to adjust it down. I used to use vinegar but I looked at the benefits of citric acid one day and made a decision that my go to adjustment tool would be lemon juice. I still have some decisions to make about trimming, thinning and topping. What a great green problem to have!

I'm going to have a good time today and the JH in my pipe might get me energized...or not.

:circle-of-love:

Good morning Jim.

Almost got you in real time today. Maybe I should go to bed early more often.

Definately time if you're going to top, and you appear to have caught on to that quite well. I could learn a thing or two from you. Everyone looks downright luscious in here Jim. Great work. My lights just came on, so let me go and do my own update and catch everyone off guard by being so early. :laughtwo:

See you around the neighborhood. Awwww, another hug. There, that's better.
