LST: Low Stress Training

if it's an auto get in it's final pot. autos will start flower as soon as the roots hit the sides of the cup. i don't think you posted what they are. photos are easier for a first time grower.

back up a bit, read thru the links i posted, then come back with questions etc with the info we need. i wouldn't worry about lst this go. let's just get you growing in the right direction first.

Ok cool but that plant in the bag is totally over watered... the roots can’t catch their breath. Take that grow bag and place it on a grate or plant riser situated about a pan or plate. Tilt the bag to a 45 degree angle and prop it so it’s both angled and slightly suspended above the drip pan and left it sit for 30 minutes at 45 degree angle... it should drip or pee several spoonfuls of water out. Then don’t add any water for about 3 days... this will drain the water that’s held in the perched water table in your grow bag.

inside every container plant there is a reserve of water called the perched water table, the soil wicks up this water and holds it in suspension. Yes water is suspended in your soil... and it’s like a small lake inside of the container but the lake is invisible because the soil is holding that water. This is what will drip out of your bag and if you wait about 3 days maybe longer the soil will totally dry out and then the plant will send tiny root hairs out to search for water. You can’t build roots in wet soil...

agree with Bluter this one may be done so no need to worry about lst now. Yes you will benefit from putting all your stuff into a journal... see paragraph 1 of my journal below (visualize whirrled peas) for ideas on what to include in your opening statement..... takes about 10 minutes and you are done!

Hey, I'm posting another pic from the top of that same one above. I went down this morning and it had blown up so I spent some time getting things back down. Before:

After.

I am using E's watering schedule, they've grown a lot and I only put about 30ml right by the stem once and no more watering till Friday since Monday. Can you see the types of clips and stuff I'm using?

I back to leaving my ladies alone for a quick small pine cone forest. No veg time required start to finish clones.

Just slide the whole plant and cup inside another cup, anything darker than clear. In a sleeve you can carefully sneak a peak at the roots but keep them out of the light (I think lol) .

Good plan, don't over think the journal. Give the basics and pics there is help to be had!

This is a one stop link :bongrip:

Edit: I missed the whole second page. :lot-o-toke: Also, you may be asked to turn this into a journal with so many topics bouncing around. Really don't know that for certain it is sort of lst but think that is why @bluter is asking for a spot with your specific and unique grow info...

You do not remove it you are giving all the growing shoots equal apical dominance.
" apical dominance is the phenomenon whereby the main, central stem of the plant is dominant over (i.e., grows more strongly than) other side stems " by the definition do you still think it is possible to have "equal apical dominance" of your side shoots?
:passitleft:

That's a good point. Here's a pic from this morning, its getting some symmetry twisting the underside up and pulling the plate leaves down and holding them so the lower branches get more light and then grow up and out. I haven't topped this plant at all.

I will have to start easing off in some places to let it relax as it grows in the next week. This works, because it expands the amount of light being used equally by all the branches. Make no mistake, you can still get a large main if you train it that way but spreading the lower branches will increase your yield..granting we dont kill them with to much at one time.

That may prove useful. Sorry if I missed this information in this posting somewhere.
