Lost In The Fog

Mounted a drumfan in the tent tonight. I love these fans. They don't make a sound and very efficient compared to propeller fans. Salvaged it from an old AC unit some years ago. Had it blowing air at the aluminum sheet which I had the 6040 cobs in that grow. Then it went with full blast, now it's only on 110V so half speed. Had problem fitting the secret jardin fans on the poles in this tent and even having room for it.

very custom ;) I like it :goodjob:

To the official Samsung Page? WTF :D change the vpn ^^

Some corporate sites don't approve some vpn servers. Don't know why but they are probably scared of hacks.

Yeah, I can really recommend them if you want to keep it stealth and produce a hurricane inside. :D

Is that the VPN from the dumpster down the street? I'd be suspicious...;)

Haha, no I pay 15$ a month for it. It's in the first hand for my Kodi viewing. But I run it on all my units except my work phone.

Never can be too careful here either. I know of people that was busted thanks to my old cannabis community SweCan.

Did the government seize the servers? Were they hosted in the country?

I think one time it was the government, or secret police. The other times some hackers hacked the server and got hold of usernames and ips and held them for ransom, the ones that didn't pay got their name, social number, address and pics of grows emailed to the cops. I know a few that got busted both times. Since then no one uses the site but it's still up.

that also happend in germany with some users of growforums.

I know it happens all over the world. We seem to be the most dangerous people around.....

I said H inFlux... :) 1 letter that makes a BIG difference, too bad we didn't see that because you basically paid the same for strips that are not nearly as efficient as H inFlux, inFlux (no H) is an older series.
It's important to pay close attention to detail with the many similar names and numbers the different parts share.

At least you didn't buy 25 of them.

Next time send me a link first and I'll double check it :)
How can you even keep up with the newest equipment? Is there like a site that people look to for info

Update!

Plants appreciate their new strips! Whitey is in pure bloom now. Spliffy keeps pushing. Guerilla Glue saw it's first light today. Cheese have just come out from the soil. Haven't got the last air-domes yet but will leave the new ones in these small pots for at least a week or two before transplant to Autopots.

Been thinking of maybe giving them water from the topside once a week maybe. The moist never gets that high from the bottom of the Autopots.

Gonna try find some pipes for a water cooling of the strips. I don't like this heat the strips are producing, I'm sure it don't even disturb the plants but I don't like it.... :D

You must fucking hate heat. Do you even heat your apartment or just cover up with extra blankets haha? You want to water cool the world

Very beautiful girls :goodjob:

Thx AngryBird! :)

No, I don't hate heat but I don't like running a cooling system with over 100W and not take benefit of it for these strips that still keep heat in the tent. That's all. :)

Sproutling!
:yahoo:

When you're done with the strips you can come water cool my entire shed :).

Yeah, more weed to the one with memory loss! :D

I can water cool your entire home. :)

Well it sucks when you can't read electrician
looking good crazy! Love the strips. You make it look easy... Im with KB.. Not being able to read electrician sucks lol

Aha, that's what you guys meant with "reading electrician". I've been to school for 6 years with electrician as main subject, so it's not that strange. But I'm not perfect by any means in this subject.

These rigs are so easy to assemble, the only thing you need to be able to keep track of is +/-, red and black. The other stuff there are so many people here willing to help you guys with if you want to go ahead with a build.

its not that i doubt my abilities to pull it off, it looks simple enough to put together, once you figure out what parts to order(the hardest part? lol)...

Im just paranoid about working with electricity and being gone from 4am-6pm during the week, anything that could go wrong, would go wrong with my luck lol

Yeah, you are right. But it's quite simple enough anyway. You have to decide which way you want to drive them. These samsung strips are built for 24V or 48V. If you put two 24V in series with each other you get 48V. Get a driver which will power them with 48V and then just connect them in parallel over the driver (put the wires in a wago clamp), how many you wish to connect is limited by the current (I = Amps).

I was also scared when starting to grow for all sorts of things. Specially with very skeptical magnetic ballasts for hps lamps. But I ran everything at night so IF something would happen the fire alarm would trip and I wake up. :) But nock on wood, nothing that big have ever happened me. Made a cool tube in acrylic once that melted around the bulb because the fan died. Toasted a few fans also. That's the most serious things I ever had to deal with.

If I would have met you when starting my light build probably could have saved me from watching loads of YouTube videos lol.

The thing that always got me is the drivers don't have how many volts they are rated for in the name, you need to look at the specs to figure it out...

I'm glad to help people the best I can. If there is some one reading this just ask me....

I have noticed this to... some do and some don't. My 185H 48A does, 185W and 48V. In my world I would name it just 185W 48V, why make things more difficult than they need to be? :)

Day off tomorrow. I have 9 days of vacation I need to take before new year and when I'm at 50% that's 18 work days. Going with mom on her kemo and afterwards IKEA on traditional Swedish Christmas dinner. I think I will stop by a tool shop and pick up the Dremel Saw also. I have been looking at that saw and it would fit my need in the apartment. Haven't room for my table saws here and the Dremel saw even cuts through metals and stone. Another early xmas present. ;)
