Lost In The Fog

..... then you should find a cap... lol
Sharkbit makes push-on fittings for copper or pex... they're pretty neat but stupid expensive. Cheapest & easiest is soldering a copper cap or even a brass plug. Brass plug is just a pain in the arse!

Yeah I know all this from my line of work. But the hall effect sensor I put together was surprisingly accurate. Had it for measuring aluminum chloride dosage to the water filters at work. That's in ml per minute.

Ahh, du jobber med vandforsyning? :)
Jeg stoppede som grundvandstekniker for et halvt år siden

Nice, ml per minute is cool, then you just need to hook it up to a wifi module so you can monitor and adjust from your phone ;)

Ja jag jobbar som automationsingenjör på vattenverk. Mest ytvatten, vi har ett grundvatten verk. Vad gör du nu? :)

Yes, it was some tinkering before I got the time frame right. It was for clamp hose pumps. 17 filters with one pump each, the pumps are connected in groups on 4-5 per motor. Nightmare to adjust... But now we have Grundfoss pumps with flow meters.

The flux arrived today! So I have made one manifold, and no leaks from it! I haven't gas soldered since school. But I remembered how fun it was now.

Made endings for the main pipe from the same pipe, mashed it in the vice and filed two plates.

I did not think it was going to be water tight but it held up for the pressure from the pump anyway and that's what counts. :)

Going to make another one tomorrow. Hopefully the valves will arrive tomorrow also.

Have a green one, everyone!

Made some progress today. Fixed the radiator leak, exchanged one of the pipes going in to the radiator. Tested it with no leak tonight. I will fit this in the exhaust hose from the tent so the air from the tent will be sucked out through the radiator. The water from the logic blocks will pass through this first and then the peltier cooler and back to the logics.

Made the other manifold piece. Haven't tested this for leaks yet. All the stuff I ordered are in town now. But due to PostNord I didn't get them today. Paid for delivery to the door but gos sms today the packs are collectible at my service... There goes that extra money I paid for home delivery. If they could get half as good as ups they would be great... well tomorrow they promised delivery.

Have a green one!

One man's trash is another man's treasure!

That's my motto shed! :)

Looked at those radiators when I ordered the valves, they start at round 70$ and go up. So I saved a lot of money, not having to buy a new one.

As a kid I loved to trash new toys I got just to look inside them how they were put together. Don't know at what age I started to put together them again or build new stuff of it.

Superkul :) For staten/byen gætter jeg på?
Jeg går på kursus i virksomhedsøkonomi nu, så jeg kan begynde på uddannelse som Markedsføringsøkonom til januar :)

Used to ''live'' in a 10 foot shipping container modded for hydrogeological pumping tests, and got a bad back from pulling SP pumps up from wells 100's of times.

Jaha. Du håller på att sadla om ditt yrke då. :) Det låter som om du hade jobbat på SGU, om du hade bott i Sverige.

We made some test pumping near the east coast here last summer. But with bad results on salt water intrusion to the ground water. So there will be a reverse osmosis plant there.

We still suffer very low levels in our lakes, but the ground water have manage to keep it's levels quite good this summer.

So are you starting up your own firm then?

Love the red cabinets!

Haha, thx shed. But we are looking at a new revolutionary way of cooling our grow lights with. ;)

The kitchen is all from IKEA. I was full of doubt on the coloring of the kitchen when I bought the apartment but I have grown to like it. The best times is around xmas. You have no need of decorating it. The worst part is keeping those gloss cabinets clean, but they are rather easy to clean.
