Lost In The Fog

Now what's with the crispy flowering plant front right?

If you are referring to the picture of Kush and Widow in bloom tent, the plant in fore front of them is the older Gg clone in perlite. Think the issue with her was to little oxygen in the air hose, had a few pots on that wire. She sits in 2" of water all the time. No bugs in the bloom tent that I know of but knock on wood.....

Congrats on the mini-auto harvest. What did you learn?

Hehe thx Shed. AngryBird is trying to convince me to try make COBs of the buds. :)

I learned it's no good idea to use the same tray for run off from soil pots in to a tray that's being used for feeding hydro pots.

It's a hell keeping track of which solution of nutes and pH the different mediums want.

It's much easier to grow in perlite than soil when using small pots and air injection.

Never do cuttings and clones from an Auto. :)

Crazys way of spending a Saturday night :)

I had to test one of the new dumpster boards I got the other day. What I figured out about them is they push 33W a piece, its 33 diodes per board so 1W per chip. They are all in series and the absolute max they run is 500mA. This test I'm now running is on the same driver as my Osram strips that driver delivers 350mA max but due to saturation of Osrams I constricted the amps to 300mA so the dumpster board will run at this. The thing I'm most interested in is the Kelvins on it. The Osrams in picture are 4200K and the inFlux 3000K. I think it looks like the dumpster board is a little whiter than the Osrams so it might be 4500K. I'm sure they are super bright running at 500mA. I'm not sure of which combination I will go for with this. If I should run the both influxes in one half of the tent and the dumpsters at the other end or combine all to get an even spread of all spectrum. This light will be used for veg for mothers and potted clones. The cloner will sit in the lower compartment in the tent and will have a light of its own, 4200K.
