Do you see a difference with dark? I have heard so many contrasting stories I never tried it. Thinking I may do it to Ammy, thoughts?

Honestly I don't know. I've been told it helps start the chlorophyll breaking down. I dunno I just do it cos alot of people seem to do it haha. It won't cause any harm either way so it's not too crazy to give it a go. I tend to dark 2 days then 7-10 hung up then 3 days in a box in dark curing. It's not the perfect and if I had unlimited time and weed and space I'd do a much longer slower dry.

I do it for 36 hours if the plant is sweet enough. It works well, in my experience. Last time I took pictures of the trichomes before and after and compared them. The pictures were taken from the same approximate spot on the buds both before and after. That's when I saw the difference. The trichs were longer and more numerous, noticeably. It probably smelled more too but my smeller is useless since pot is all I ever smell. I was sold on it. Just hard to add an extra day to your harvest time sometimes when you've been patiently waiting for the buds to finally finish. Lol. For what it's worth, there's one person's experience.

Thanks John just confirming my suspicion that it's worth it hehe. I didn't know about better/more trichomes but that's a bonus :ganjamon: I just found the taste to be a bit better by day 7. I should say day 7 I start smoking the odd bud, day 10 is when it comes down and gets boxed for a 3 day cure (also not long enough but I need my smokies!! Lol)

Hey @Jon Thank you! It's nice to hear a personal experience on it rather than just research. I mean I've waited how long and will wait how much longer for a yummy cure, so what's another couple of days? I'll do it and take pics and tag you both in em

This is a picture of my first ever grow when I knew nothing. Pineapple Upside Down Cake bagseeds I got from a dispensary eighth, origin Surfr Seeds. Tent, light, fans, soil, pots, etc. all funded by the Trump rebate check. This is how I got my start in growing. When I harvested I named it Trump weed. No wonder nobody liked it. Lol! I joke, it was good. Six plants in a 5x5 with no clue what I was doing. These buds are fun looking and were very good weed in the end, but from six plants in 8 gallon pots (told you I didn't know what I was doing) and no topping or training, I only yielded 10 1/2 useful, actual nice bud ounces. If this grow were done in exactly the same poor rookie manner but with the Mars Hydro FC6500 instead of the blurples you see here, the yield would have been double.

I love me some Hootie. One of my first concerts in South Carolina before they hit it big. Smallest farm yard venue ever. Now I'm in love with Darius Rucker as he went solo...

Lol! I get it man! Yeah I literally knew nothing. That tent was an out of control jungle. One of the plants got 8 feet tall and supercropped itself after I had it pulled down. It was crazy.

Funny Krissi, me too...I was at Penn in the early 80's when his band was playing parties at frat houses and small bars and stuff. JUST getting started. They played a frat party at Penn I went to. Nobody had a clue who they were, but we sure as hell realized very quickly that this dude can sing his ass off!!!!!

Small world, huh? That definitely preceeded the concert I was at, I think I saw them in like 90-92, it was only a few years before the Let Her Cry album came out. I wasn't a country fan since I was a NY born NJ raised girl but I fell in love. Then when I moved to Indiana after I got married to my ex, I really fell in love. Beers and Sunshine was my summer song this year

Nice. Yeah this is way back when Darius barely even looked like Darius. The band was probably entirely different by the time that album came out. But it's interesting cuz our experiences show that it took them about ten years of banging around bullcrap gigs before they hit the big time, which means by year 8 or so they were getting serious notice. That's pretty fast in my experience. Cool conversation, thanks.

Hehe I don't mind a bit of country but if I'm given the choice I'm a rock/metal kinda guy. I love a good mosh :theband: :ganjamon:

I like it all. 50s Chubby Checkers, 60s CCR, 70s ELO, 80s Michael Bolton and Wham, 90s STP Nirvana Coolio and MC Hammer, 2000s rock, dance, pop, to DMB and Lincoln Park to Twisted Sister and Biggie...you should hear my trimming mixes:rofl::slide:

Hehe very eclectic mix there :) I'm definitely into older stuff I dunno if that's a symptom of being almost 34 but I'll choose The Doors or Led Zeppelin over whatever megan thee stallion is crapping out hehe. For my trimming I tend to go for high energy metal to keep my energy/speed up haha. Slipknot, system of a down, audioslave, RATM or some foo fighters hehe

You're younger than me...it's a symptom of being born up til the 80s I think, we actually appreciate both worlds anything past that they lost what music was...mostly garbage now
