LMAO Cloning For Dummies

I'm gonna make a last ditch effort and get her into my new nursery, I read that scraping the stem helps root developement. I used a new disposible razor to gently shave the stem after I cleaned it up prior to cutting it. The razor took off a microscopically thin layer like a vegetable peeler

I bend those loops around an ink pen, its easy to slip the stem in and pinch the loop closed. If you want to remove it just pull the wires and open it. I pinched the wires on the lower supporting piece where it attaches to the main piece with a pair of pliers to keep it in place. I did all my fiddlin around and measured where the tip would be in the water before I slipped her in and pinched the loop closed. Can yall guess what I used to make them?

pipe cleaners?

Wasent ready when the mishap occured and didnt think to just snip it off and drop it in some water. I noticed when I cut it the stem was dry so she wasent drinkin or couldnt. I dont want the remaining stem to dry out I might need it later so I filled a little capplug with water and will revisit and make sure it stays moist.

If you cut the stem shave some of the bark off lightly and maybe use some hormone she should root rather fast she still trying to stay alive

You can use rooting gel in water I prefer not to use anything at all when rooting them it takes a little longer High oxygen water will speed up the routing process aloe vera will actually help the stress

I would hope so that's what this whole form is about I can clone with as simple as tap water and a cup I don't need to pH hormones keys or anything like that I don't have no oxygen I ate let nature do what it has to do in order to root it so here is a simple breakdown of what you'll need to do when you first start pick your branch use a razor cut it off of your tree throw it into a cup of cold tap water after you have collected as many as you need cut an inch of the stem off under the water so it does not pick up any air bubbles gently take the razor and shave the fresh Fork off of the end that you are going to roots stick it in the tap water and let her sit in that water for 4 to 5 days before you change it it can take 21 days to fully root a clone this way sometimes longer depending on humidity and temperature and Light if you have any other questions feel free to ask I am just smoking one and answering questions

Nice...yea where I live is a humidity problem...my room right now is like 30...it goes up and down....can't find either one of my damn humidifiers

Don't worry about humidity with yours if you're going to run Yours Like Mine the cup of water will hold the humidity around the plants leaves and in the plant stem at around 50 to 70% as long as you don't let her get too hot it will not be an issue
