LMAO Cloning For Dummies

I guess that would make you my partner in Clone crime why do some people get mad when I start to torment these clones LMAO it's all fun for me

Plants actually really do sleep this is not a joke you will go into your room at times and look at your plant right before the lights go out the leaves will start to lay down and she will already be going to sleep because she knows the time that her lights go off I have seen this happen on multiple different occasions with multiple different plants

Here's a pic of my clones (4 for 4) in just h2o and once roots were spotted they hit the dirt.

You can put a cutting right off the mother plant into 12/12 lighting to sex it. Doesn't need roots to do that.

Watch that plant in the top left. Looking a little droopy. You might have to mist the leaves a few times a day for a bit till it stretches out its roots.

It would suck bringing it this far only to lose it now. Does the sunlight through a window intensify what the plant feels? I put my clones outside up against some other plants so they get only about an hour of direct sunlight each day and that is very late in the afternoon. After about a week I move them out into the full afternoon sun. I watch them like a hawk the first day to be sure they're okay.

They get the am direct sun for a few hours and then it's indirect for the rest of the day. I don't think it intensifies it but I'll be more mindfull of it's effect

Did you get mama re-potted? Is she looking any better?

Hello everyone!

I was thinking, i did some research and i still don't know the truth. IS It possible to clone autos? Even If they were really fast and small?

Didn't repot her....I don't have a bigger pot...I put 2 plants thru life cycle in a pot have the size and did pretty good so I'm hoping the same results or better idk...everything is just going kinda fast now like I say I've never had this many so I'm just trying to keep up lol

Technically you can clone autos. The thing is the cutting is the same age as the mother plant. So let's say you have to wait till week 6 to take a cutting, chances are the mother plant would already be flowering or very close to starting. The cutting will do whatever the mom is doing. So if the mom start to flower the cutting will start to flower while trying to grow roots. So it is spending energy for two things at once which doesn't benefit either chore. Also, taking a cutting from the mom stresses her a little which is never good with an auto.

So yes, scientifically you can clone an auto but really it's not worth it unless the plant is a very quick grower and you can get a cutting quickly and it can make roots prior to flowering. Then you could see a few small buds from the clone.

As I am not an expert in anything, everything I say on here is strictly my opinion and what I believe to be true to the best of my knowledge. Never take the word of a single person even if they have thousands of posts. Get several replies to your question and see if one answer shows up repeatedly and go with that information.

Wow, thank you for the info sir!

So, If l choose to clone And auto i am probably going to regret it..

The seeds in question are lowryders.

Most people will say not to even transplant an auto. To put the seed into the pot in which the plant will grow till harvest. Many say not to even top an auto because it stresses the plant. I'm on the fence with regard to both of these. I have topped several autos (very early) and they seemed to be none the worse for wear. I do plant the seeds where they will always live. Autos send out roots quickly and no sense messing with the roots.
