LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Inexperience sucks I'm glad I'm gettin past that part but I share it all. Lots of clear trics some cloudy some more amber from random samples. From all the info from many sources I researched I never got an explaination I really understood. No more jumpin the gun on the trics I think I finally know what to look for cause I'm smokin my mistakes, and its still pretty damn good but coulda been better.

My rule is that if you think it is done give it one more week
I was giving this girl one more week, and look!

Almost more nanners than buds!
At least i'm SURE she's done. I'll tell you about the smoke in 2 months...

There's different types of neeners bananas hermaphrodites however you want to say it there's genetic ones which you want to stay far away from and then there are hermaphrodites from stress and then there are hermaphrodites that the plant makes itself in order to survive to the next year what your seen in Mary Anna pictures is one that had an early flower survival that was triggered where are the other one did not

Ah ok I was freakin out a lil worrying about time limit...I'm not too worried if I get seeds in my buds...if people don't want it then I'll keep it but all female is the best

No, don't worry! This is a genetically pure Durban Poison, and they do have that odd quirk of going hermie at a moments notice. I'm going to have to backbreed to stabilise it, going to take forever. But even a tad too early, it's a winner
Seriously, don't worry about yours, this is just one of the traits of the unstabilised strain (generations of old growers didn't worry about male/ female/ hermie plants, just kept planting whichever seeds they could, so it shouldn't happen to yours )

Yea I just hope to get the timing right on the trichs...getting them to the flower stage is somewhat easy just figuring out what the plants are trying to say they need or have too much of...

First time is always the hardest. You could do it in stages, if you wanted to be very sure. My first harvest, i picked & dried 1 bud (imagine my iron self control, 1 bud only) when i thought she was ready, smoked it, too early. Picked another bud a few days later, smoked, too early. Left it a week, saw denser buds & more resin, still too early. Etc, until i had the right time. Then i took pics for reference. 2nd harvest, only started when they looked like the pics, not quite right, but better. Anyway, learned along the way that the early harvest works for a clearer head, later harvest for full on stoner on the couch watching harold & kumar. I know you want to share with your friends, super nice guy, you, but in the end you are growing meds for yourself, so it just has to be right for you.

Yep all true that's why I'm going for later harvest ...I read about harvesting in stages to get bottom buds a lil more umph...and that when you start seeing amber that the window is closing so start flushing as soon as amber is seen...I only have the 1 in flower so don't wanna mess her up..got 8 right behind her to go into flower...they seem small to me still but imhigh said I might still have another 4-6 weeks left in flower ....my house smells so good hell even outside lol...

Me in a nutshell, you can teach, preach, show, tell, yell, scream or any thing else to try to educate me but until I get some dirt on my hands and real world things to see, taste, smell or otherwise study I function best with the most basic theory of any task I choose to undertake cause I'm gonna look for a better way to do it anyway.

And I embrace my failures as tightly as my sucesses
