It's been cold outside for the last week, down to 8f some nights and not even reaching freezing during the day. The main heat is set to 62f, but with the dehumidifier and the tents has kept it above 65 in the basement. It's actually a nice compromise between growing temperatures in the tent and res temperatures outside the tent.

I'm following the @Prescription Blend nutrient schedule for flowering. When the 'Big Data' goes up 1ml on the schedule, I add 1ml/G (45ml) to the next feed. She's up to the maximum now (6ml/G) and comes back down in week# 5. That'll be a perfect time for the final res change.
Other than that, I watch the PPMs and pH and add either nutes or water, trying to keep them around 1100ppm (2.2ec) for now. The pH is a little higher than I prefer (I shoot for 5.8), but they're doing great with it. Besides, I'm afraid to bring it too low because it's just about time for the pH to start crashing as they go crazy on P & K.
Screenshot_20221227_124120_Sheets.jpg

The skunks are doing fantastic. They're still reaching for the @VIVOSUN VSF6450, although it looks like the stretch is finishing up. Sandy (back-left) may be a slightly different phenotype, as her buds look skinnier and longer, and she stretched more than the others. The front two look very similar. Speck is... well, she's doing well for being so far behind the others. All of them are building like crazy.

Especially for the third week of flower, there's a lot of trichomes in there. And some of those suckers are long.

Not bad for a bud stuck in the corner of the tent.

Roots are looking great, if a little stained from the nutes.

I checked today, and they're all at 35+ DLI. The @VIVOSUN VSF6450 is at the top of the tent at 100%, and it'll stay there through flower. They may stretch a little more, but right now the top buds are at 65k LUX. With what I'm seeing so far, I think these skunks are just fine with what they're getting.

I've left them alone for the last couple of weeks. It's just about time to give them their final trim. Everything has been cleaned under the first net, but that's just the first 8". There's another 24-30" above that that hasn't been touched.

For starters, I'll get rid of all of these.

They don't really end up as much and they're a pain to process at harvest. After that we'll see what else needs to go. Any buds growing tight to the stem will stay. I'll keep as much leaf matter as possible, as long as they have good airflow. The trim crew is sharpening up their scissors for this last defoliation. We'll get these ladies cleaned up and ready to finish flower.

We trimmed up the Skunks last night. It's always tough to cut off all those little flowers. It's easier when they're lime green because they can't see the light. It also helps when the canopy is filled with nice big buds. We didn't really remove anything from the canopy.

For the most part, we concentrated on getting rid of smaller branches instead of leaves. Take any branch of the plant, start from the bottom and follow it up. All of the thin, short branches coming off it that don't make the canopy are removed. We actually left more than we did last time, almost everything in the top 12". I took before and after pictures from all three sides and the top.

I'll give them a few days to recover then look them over again. I need to find a way to elevate the tower fan on the floor, then I'll see how I like the airflow in the tent. Meanwhile I'll just watch the buds grow :)

That's going to be a massive harvest!
Thanks Shed. Not to jinx anything, but it looks like a lot more than my previous biggest harvest. That tent is FULL!

These Skunks are looking fantastic. I have them dialed in at 1.2 VPD and they stay within .1 day and night. They're loving the @Prescription Blend nutrients and drinking 2+ gallons/day, with just a slight tip burn at 1100ppm (2.2ec). The @VIVOSUN VSF6450 is at the top of the tent at 100% power providing plenty of light across a slightly uneven canopy.

It looks like I have some slightly different phenotypes, a bonus from starting from seed instead of clones. It means the canopy may not be as even, but I'll also get slightly different bud. Sandy, in the back left, has stretched about 6" taller than the others and the buds look a bit thinner. Cindy and Suzy, up front, are a little shorter with thicker buds. Speck, stunted and self-topped, is still about 28" from the light but she is still stacking and building two monster buds. They're all getting super frosty and the smell is coming on, a lot fruitier than I expected. Finishing up week# 3 of flower and I'm just hoping I can keep them looking this healthy for another month or so.

Hey spab good to see you. Yea, this time of year can be tough. I always come back to my garden when I need some re-charge time. Sounds like you have things under control there. Happy New Year.

This grow is on auto-drive right now. The @VIVOSUN VSF6450 is at 100% at the top of the tent and everyone is getting plenty of light. The VPD in the tent is locked into around 1.3 VPD, with highs around 80f and lows around 70f. I'm checking and adding to the res every other day, water or nutes depending on the PPMs & pH. I'm really impressed with the @Prescription Blend nutrients. I've used them in soil before with great results. I've been using them right off their schedule, with a few bennies added. The plants are loving them!

These skunks are done stretching and are building up bud. Aside from a very slight tip burn, everyone looks healthy and happy. The buds are really filling in and starting to get thick. The smell is starting to increase too, with lots of fruit in those skunks. I'm starting to see a couple of orange pistils here and there. As long as I don't mess anything up, it looks like these Skunks are going to get fat :)
