Yea i got no idea what's goin on with the mungrel, I'm not too fussed because atleast 7/9 of the plants are looking decent. I only hear good things about these strains wedding cake and sour apples so its getting hard not to flip these to flower already! Gunna try hold out for 7-8 more days because it will make a larrrge difference in yield

Today 15/9/22 is the first night of flower, Waiting an extra week seems like it was worth it, the height on the right side is 2.4feet tall (The scrog net still needs some work haha). Also ordered another 2 nets just incase they stretch reallly hard will see in a week/2 if they will be needed

Hey mate, is it just me or do they look a bit better than they were? Like not advancing and the new growth seems to be better.

Ive thought long and hard, if I had to diagnose them like my own my best guess is Mg def.

I dont think its light stress, so the only other maybe is a K def, but if I was betting, Mg.

Looking good though brother overall, they are going to be a handful during stretch!

Hey man yea they arnt getting any worse and the new growth is somewhat looking better which is nice. Im not sure what it could be. i thought maybe my soil was too strong originally, but now after 60+ days vege it should of been able to handle it.

Day 5 of flower now and they are starting build into the stretch now. It might not look like it they still seem bushy as all fuck, but i have been taking alot of leaves off each plant daily little by little.. Also hoping we have a full tent of females, Gave them a watering today, Been watering every 3-5 days about 1.3litres per plant.I get the slightest amount of runoff if its only been 3 days. I have been careful not to soak them at all it seems to promote better growth( Ive only given plants nutrients twice throughout whole life so i shouldnt be getting a buildup at the bottom of my pot)
other than all that it seems to be going well.

Small update: Day 10 of flower

Plants are on the stretch now I have my lights turned up 95% really high to (in theory) stop them reaching for the roof haha. also pretty happy about not wasting any room in the tent, It seems to be pretty full now.

I got a feeling if i run into no serious mistakes/mishaps i could be onto a decent yield for the family over christmas, very excited for that. I hope everyones having a chill weekend and enjoying their gardens. Heres a few photos.

Hey everyone We keep moving forward and are now on day 15 since the lights have been changed to 12/12. Plants are still on the stretch but have not gotten out of control which is nice, Im putting it down to the fact i've kept my lights blasting at alteast 90%+ throughout. Also one plant is needing way more water than the others ive had to give it some water just before taking these photos. ( big plant in the back left). Going to do a proper defoliation around the base of some of these plants this week and then after that its basicly sit back and chill

Just wondering, Do people count the flower period from the exact day when the lights change to 12/12? or do they wait about 5-6 days then start counting. Tripping me out trying to figure that out @InTheShed

Funny thing about that: it doesn't make a damn bit of difference! Some count from flip (me and breeders for example), some count from pistils, and some do both.

The plants will tell you when they're done no matter how you count.

I count from the day I see the start of those white hairs.

This is my favourite part of flower. They look so clean, healthy and full of promise.

Things going smooth as it looks like the stretch is all but over now. They seem to be doing good and lookin healthy.
The wedding cakes seem to be developing far quicker than the Sour Apple's and not as stretchy. Also ive noticed over the grow the soil has probably sunk down a good Inch in a few pots. So that meant it was a great time to give them a nice top dress of a good 2-3 inches of soil which they should enjoy

Also have only used water up untill this point. tossing up weather to use nutrients or not. Ill hold off for a week or 2 now and see how that extra soil goes.

The temps have been fairly stable hovering between 26 during the day and 21 Celsius during the nights.
And i have raised my lights. the top of the highest plants are about 22 inches and the rest is is around 24-30 inches.
Hope everyones grow is goin good.

Glad to see ya in here Bill. Going good just spent some time this arvo top dressin the plants with just soil. and then giving them a good water. Pretty excited with how things are shaping up right now, Basicly will just be doing some minor defoliation through the next couple weeks and limiting myself to opening the tent ONLY when needed haha.
