We are a lot alike, Hemp. This one kid rode me for two years in middle school, and on one of the last days of 8th grade he finally put his hands on me and I got to knock him the FUCKOUT in front of the entire school. It was vindicating and I believe much of my self-assurance and confidence comes from learning to stand with my back straight. I got in a fight in my gym class every semester, and damn near every one of those guys ended up at least on friendly terms once they saw I would stand up to them.

Sweet camera...

I remember a kid that fucked with me for the better part of one school year...he'd spit on me, call me names...

One day he got off at my bus stop...started in on me...I had enough..

Walked up to him without saying a word..busted his fucking head open with one punch...suddenly he didn't look so tough and never fucked with me again..

But he sent his sisters after me...they were kinda hot and tough as hell. I got lucky there...it was 3 on one..

That was my sophomore year and the last altercation of it's kind that I ever got into...

So satisfying!! Fucker!

If a simple light leak makes it hermie, you got problems with the genetics and you are moving toward a "natural hermie" wherein the plant is pre-disposed to hermie because it was from unstable genetics...

They call it femenization... but without a true female, proving that she won't throw male, you get hermies and then you sell the seeds for more money... it makes no sense.

I know for a fact that a few strains I have dealt with in the past year from banks are dangerously close to being "natural hermies"

The plants I am currently onto, do not hermie unless you stress them to the extreme. The seeds made with pollen from true females, will be likely to be all female... but also there is a chance you get all males... it has to do with the way the plant pushes its pollen producers... I am not sure the mechanism...
So you gotta check your seeds before warranting them a females... and the likelihoods of hermie from the process is also there...

OH, and I can say for sure that ordering pot seeds through the mail regardless of the state medical laws, is not okay. It is just the fact that so much mail is sent each day, and they don't have the ability to screen everything... But is is misconception to believe that ordering seeds online is okay and somehow "allowed". it more of a "allowable yet ill-advised"

What seed bank is the best for us though? because I was also thinking of ordering. lol...

That is one hell of a good point about minor light leaks cause I have grown in my back yard with lights everywhere outside in the summer, along the sides of the highway near my cottage ,and no hermies and then there are those nights when the moon is so bright that you can see everything and although its reflected light its still about 100x brighter then my flower room during the dark period hell most forests I have grown in had more light at night then my flower room so maybe it is true that todays genetics do have some fairly predominant hermi traits it would only seem plausible given the amount of In breeding that has been done to achieve those super high potency strains that some undesirable traits would slip thru as well.

So far I have had excellent luck with Greenhouse seeds feminized seeds not herm'ing from stress when used as mothers and the way I see it is if you pick up a selection of say 20 different good feminized strains you can just grow a couple of moms up during one crop cycle take clones once the new plants are around 60 days old or your current crop is 3-4weeks from harvest and take clones, discard any moms that dont meet your needs and once you have figured out which strains are your fav's purchase them all in regular variety and find a good female of the pheno type you prefer. In my honest opinion feminized seeds are either for finding the strains you like quickly or for those who dont have the time or space to go thru the lengthy veg process and weeding out of males .

So far I do know I will be purchasing 10 regular El nino , Church and Cheese seeds from greenhouse to get a good mom from non feminized genetics. I have been wondering if anyone has ever grown Black Domina from Sensi Seed's because I really am interested in that strain but for $135 its a lot of money if the strain is decent but not the best as far as medicinal strains go.

i'll just stick to my bagseed for rite now, plus i've gotten some real good green lately and kept some seeds out of it.. so i'll be using them... good enough for me.. :tokin: i forgot to congrats u on the bad ass camera !!! i was lookin for a used one like that..maybe one day..

Thanks man, I've only had the camera for a day and I love it already. I've taken some pictures of my son and my dog and the quality is just absolutely amazing!!

I've grown some auto's before but the Lowryder 2 is just crazy fast. At this rate I think this one plant will be finished in 8 to 9 weeks from seed.

Hemp, FYI...you put a link to the trailers, but from there I was able to access the whole movie (links at the bottom of the player) and just finished it. It's fantastic! Thank you for that, since it's one I hadn't seen before and does a great job of presenting the facts surrounding criminalization and the challenges in getting it overturned. :thanks:

I watched this movie a couple of years ago now, but I remember being profoundly moved by how effective it was at making the whole prohibition thing seem utterly ridiculous. You can't watch that movie and still think prohibition is the right thing. Not a chance.

Those are all really good movies. One day I was looking around on Hulu and found a few good documentaries on marijuana. Another good one I saw was "How Weed Won The West" (don't remember if this was already talked about)

I think these movies should be required viewing, after all the lies and bullshit our beloved governments cram down our throats, it's refreshing to hear the forbidden truths about something that's truly one of nature's miracles... Marijuana.
