Light Addict's Quick Guide To Fluxing: Featuring The Original Flux!

Re: Light Addicts quick guide to Fluxing, featuring The original Flux!

Hey, Light Addict, great bit of info. I am in the midst of starting a new grow. I have seen photos of plants with all of those even colos but I would have never thought of doing the FLUXING way. I have a question--on the 8th picture from the very top there is a plastic bottle there. What is it for. It looks like part of your watering system. If not, how do you water. I am going with larger containers this time around. I do not believe just dumping so much water on a plant and letting it go at that. I will take any other help also. Thanks in advance.

Greenstuff OZ brit left a post above about your previous question on medium :))
The bottles you see, is my home made co2 producer. Simply water sugar and yeast mixed . Then fed out to back of my fan . So it gets pushed over crop evenly. (Only for lights on)
I water through a plastic tube and water slowly working my way around the plant. As I leave my pots to go quite dry before watering /feeding. I have to water real gently at first else you get loads of run off and little intake. So gentle and slow with watering. :)

Hey COorganics :) Nope I like having total control over my girls! Ive done 9 plant scrogs before. Yet training with wire in my mind just gives me far more cintrol over the plants form.

Well what you're doing is certainly working well. I was just curious. I have definitely benefited from your guide here. Love your training!

Little update of pics :)

Plants look amazing! Awesome job training those girls. I can't even count all those tops :)

Hi Green.....I hope LA doesn't mind me jumping here but I can answer. It depends on how long you want to veg mate really. My Tutts are now 80 days since I received the received the beans. 3 days from receipt to tap roots....then the skys the limit. I believe the longer the veg....the better the return. I made load of mistakes early on but I GENUINELY believe I could reach my current stage in half the time next run :) Good luck to you mate :)

Hey mate.....I agree 100% lol. I reckon I can do next run in half the time now I KNOW how to do it :) My actual "forecasts" for plants and movements next grow have been based around 12 weeks veg....but thats me looking at a 4 plant/4 week perpetual :)

Many thanks and time for me to update with some pics and info.

Firstly due to me being greedy, I over fead and mixed my nute range a bit. Mainly though the 3rd stage of the D&S needs PH balanced. This stalled my girl for over a week hence the small buds at present.
My girl is also only under a 400hps, so the very bottom sites were not going to form so I would advise clearing this growth as earl as possible! unless working with better light :) Now some updated pics :)

Now I'm gonna be using my back building technique on her tomorrow, then my time manipulation a few days later. :) This should win me back most of what I lost!! :)

Cheers OZ :) I smile as he has done more fluxes than me! :)
Yet to go on my original girl, you can have from seed to crop, in my opinion: 10 weeks for veg then your strains flower time plus a week or so. :) That is for my size girl. That at moment I still believe will pass the 20 mark with ease.

Oz, that noob? the guy that has his own language & a great humor?

That's the guy that hasn't got to the finish yet, never had an amber trichome! hope you got a chuckle Oz, just messin',

I want to add that the longer you veg, yes you can get bigger buds, but,

bigger fatter buds increases chances of mold and other bad things that like to live in and eat bud.

I grew some buds last yaer that almost got TOO BIG, I had mold at 40% humidity, the fog is what got me!

just my 2 cents! :peace:
