BTW what do you think of the CBD strains? Keepem Green

Let me.... Considering what CBD does for the body, for pain and inflammation in particular, not to mention depression and anxiety and PTSD, I believe everyone would benefit from having at least one CBD strain in their grow at all times. When you can bring more balance between THC and CBD you enter an entirely different realm of cannabis as medication. Choose the right one and it's easy to grow.

Forgive me if I overstepped LA. I couldn't resist the urge to answer. :battingeyelashes:

So I didn't mean to post that yet lol.

Some pics showing the Mephisto Tyrone Stomper I got to trial for them.

I'm soooo very impressed by this strain! :)

You're not the only one impressed. That's some serious oil production on that baby! Atrain was always encouraging us to look more closely at Mephisto. This one deserves a second glance for sure. :high-five:

I'm especially interested into the CBD strain for sure. It's my daily choice and balances the THC aspect with CBD. I can function normally if there is such a thing for brain injuries. Very exciting!

Cannabinoids are neural protectors, so I'd be surprised if there wasn't a protocol that could enhance your life growtohealme. :battingeyelashes: Good to hear that it's working for you.

I would be interested in finding THAT protocol but my brain injury is very complex to explain in a few words SweetSue. My ambition has been to discover a formula that works for my particular case. Sorry to hijack, I tried to keep my reply short. .I'm here to watch Superman make medicine that is saving my life. It's fascinating! It gives me hope.

Firstly folks this is my thread and I tend to try and keep things trim! Hence me just liking/thanking many comments and not often replying to people, sometimes even when they're saying really nice things. Its not me being rude its just my way, as I don't like my threads full of useless posts with me just talking without saying anything of value!
So reposting my pics?? I don't want this done just for the sake of it on the same page its already on! So yep ask questions etc and talk amongst yourselves all you like :) but respect my wishes folks or get blocked!

So the new CBD strains from HSO!

I've not ran any yet myself, but know that the selection of these 2 were very very selective. The lineage of the CBD part of the mix were from the very best stock taken from lines of some of the original famous CBD strains, basically the elite stock from the pure original sources. Im not going to go into anything more as not sure whats OK for me to say lol :) One thing though, the plant numbers they go through for these selections is just mind boggling!

Now without knowledge on this and going from my own thinking, they were very clever in what they used at their end of the crosses. Take Green Crack, its known sometimes as a racy, hectic head buzz for many, well, when grown as the original THC version. So then take it and get the ratio correct with the CBD side and you have a balanced product that might find a slot or niche, as it would provide the medical benefits of the cbd side and still provide a workable head buzz but in a clearer more manageable way, so perhaps giving the best of both worlds??

Anyway they're gonna be a cpl of cycles away yet! :) I'm enjoying messing with all the new strains I got with my POTY seed vouchers! ;)

I have to say, the canna culture has certainly changed since my last exposure in the early 70's. I am sure many more strains were available then, but I can only remember three classes during procurement, the ever present home grown, the generic "mexican' and the sought after Acapulco gold (I'm sure Cheech and Chong contributed to it's popularity:cheesygrinsmiley:) lol.
The current grow techniques, yours included are amazing, but I find the ongoing discovery of medicinal uses more so.
I'll be following the CBD grows very closely.
:peacetwo:

Funny you had to cut the other side off too.. i would have done the same. Ocd gets the best of ya lol

OCD. IF I get hit three times on the right side of my head, I have to hit the left side three times just as hard or I don't feel right.
Seems normal to me.

Hey Sue.

To give the perspective of CBD strains from a small scale commercial grower I must say, that a balanced strain 50/50 ish cbd thc have always been the most popular with customers.

Some have said they are less anxious after a large dose, others find it an all round better high.

There is a lot of good to be found when we look away from the massively unnecessary high thc levels seen in most strains these days.

Oh, and hey, La .

Does CBD lose some of it's CBDness when produced in a high CBD/low THC plant? I'd love to find such a strain available in seed form, but my searches suggest that there is no seed bank that has something like that. All I could find is a Dinafem strain (I think Amensia) that advertises a slightly higher CBD profile than THC (10%CBD/8%THC). Saving them till I dial in my rooms better.

Sky my friend the Green C CBD is at a ratio of 2:1 with THC so might be what your looking for :)

Does it matter which breeder the Green C comes from, or do they all have same/similar profiles? I have aging family members and I hope to one day produce something beneficial to hopefully abate Alzheimer's and other ailment that commonly plague the elderly.

Also, my above question is my attempt to unearth some knowledge about the effects of the various ratios.

Chap its something I'll be doing personal tests on soon. My mom who beat cancer twice and has had MS for years is now fighting a losing battle now against early on set Alzheimer's. I'll be trying her out on the green c and blue dream CBD strains and a few others if shen is still in a place for it to benefit by the time I've anything ready.

Perhaps she could try some of your other strains? Is it possible to have your nugz tested to see if you already have something that can help? My heart goes out to you man, it really does.
