Your definitely one of the reasons I grow but I wanted to know if you've tried something I've had some(small) success with. You know back in the day they was a very rare pheno called "creeper" that actually grew across the ground and would sprout roots from it's branches that touched the soil. I tried to mimic this by slicing a very thin cut down the back of a branch and tieing it off touching the soil. Keeping it wet and shaded seemed to do the trick. The buds were somewhat bigger on bottom but I'm thinking maybe a very long veg with these "created creepers" might do more. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on this. The rare pheno creeper plants are massive. So I wonder if it can be replicated (rooting branches)or if it has to do more with genetics.

Basically if I get you right you've one topped at both ends already and one not. As far as how long I give etc, I always build minimum of 6 inch vertical, before flowering! :)

Exactly right! Veg started about 3.10 I believe and have approx 1 in in lateral shoots do form buds on.

Thanks so much! And following as best as possible!

Btw started growing adventures about 9 months ago!

Hey folks! :)

So I'll answer questions tomoz :)

I just needed to share some news! Today my missus had a belated first scan, concerning our little bubba. Well we had a baby on the way before, but unfortunately there was no life capacity! Due to the skull not forming correctly. We were told there was a high percentage of a chance it may happen again... Well today we got the thumbs up! :) :) my little sprogladite is happy and healthy!

Soz for the disruption from normal service! My Dad is half dead and my mom has lost her marbles, so your all the family I have to tell :)

Awesome news mate. Good luck and all the best with that journey.

Congrats LA for the very good news, I know fatherhood is going to be a very big blessing for you!

Have you ever reveged anything after bloom? I'm curious to know your thoughts on fluxing a reveg? Potential pros and cons?

To my knowledge, mainlining is super cropping an entire plant and laying it on it's side and forcing it to grow horizontally. I think when LA first coined the phrase, his plant at the time had 3 main shoots that he trained outwards, and it did look like the famous flux capacitor from Back to the Future.

Congrats on the good news of the little one! Just make sure you let it grow normally and don't train it to look like a deathstar :laughtwo:

Serious note : You're one of the most innovative growers on these forums. It's always fun to see what you are up to. Very Happy for you LA.

Mainlining is basically turning all stems into the apical stem (if that makes sense)

In theory the apical meristem is the end point of a shoot. Any bud between the apical or terminal bud (the more you top the more apical sites you create) and the stem is known as accessory flowers, let's cut those off ok you don't have to. But does a fat guy need more food or does an average guy use his food energy more wisely.

Seems like it's all semantics, everyone wants big beautiful uniform buds, maybe I'm wrong tho.

To make them uniform and equal in size there are load of things but let's start with keeping the pipes equal in lengths widths and heights...

First off, thanks for the kind words folks! :)

Secondly; please stop the posting of pics on my thread please! I asked and warned on this subject at the beginning of the thread!

Now sorry here, but I'm kind of fed up explaining myself over and over on the fluxing versus ML
Fluxing is just a style I developed on from the ML technique. ML is simple and effective but was just a touch to easy for me. You top a ML plant repeatedly, creating hubbs on different levels! Fluxing is just a more time involved and refined process, using more hst and LST than a ML plant.
Anyway it was never myself that declared fluxing its own style lol. It was the community on here way back when, without my knowledge or input..!!!

Anyway as asked, Please no posting your own pics unless I give you the OK :)
