Hey all, best of buds to everyone! Gitt is looking like she is suffering a little with budding up. Im not sure if it because she is driving so many sites or what?
One issue I may have is the temp fluctuations. I have no way of changing the night time temps. Im at moment hitting 20 degree drop ever night!
She is looking the picture of health still. Even with upped doses of nutes :)

Any input on max variants on temp welcome!
 
Hey mate. I put a small fan heater in my tent on cold nights. It's thermostatically controlled so temps are fairly stable :) Cheap as chips to buy at Poundstretcher :) Don't want the Goddess Gitt catching a cold buddy :)
 
My problem is even using a heater in room wont touch my girls spot. Its on an exterior wall and cold as hell. So not much I can think of at mo? Imay run my car radiator fan in day period which would lower temp during lights on. Then the difference wouldn't be so much?
 
Those temp drops are likely ok. I notice that when I can manage a decent temp drop I get some purpling. Really pretty buds.
 
I sit my fan on top of an upside down bin to gain the necessary height :) What's the daytime temps mate? As Bass said it isn't critical unless the RH goes too high :)

I think the temps themselves relative to the max diff between day and night come into play more so than the 20 degree drop in itself. For instance, 84 degrees day with 20 degree drop at night is (imho) less stressful than say 74 degrees day with 15 degree drop at night. What are your temps? If your night temps are going lower than the mid sixties, through a heating pad in there not touching the pot. If your day temps are in the mid eighties, leave a gap at the top of youre enclosure back into the main room and put a small fan at the bottom blowing into the chamber to force the hot air out. Its a myth that the enclosure needs to be sealed to "capture" all available light; pretty sure given 'ole girls girth, she's got more than enough in that small area as it is.

Also its kind of just made me laugh, Im just over stressing lol. Ive grown all year round in that spot. So I dont know why Im stressing so much Ive always done ok!
I think this plant just means far more to me being the first Flux! Also needing to prove the style works to everyone on here lol.
 
Lol....mate you're stress on legs :) I know what you mean though...you've done such an awesome job so far you want EVERYTHING dialled in spot on :)
 
Jamthe3 My grow area is already open on one side at all times of lights on. ( her ass hangs out of area at all times lol) My temps are mid 80s lights on and mid 60s at lights on. Im gonna bust my mega fan out ( car radiator fan) I have it hanging at front pulling hot air out into room. It drop my temps by about 5 degrees during lights on.

:) Awesome. I would also like to pick your brain my master! Im thinking certain leaves that are near budsites. That shade below sites yet have not much development at their own point. Would it be more beneficial to cut the leaf in half with scissors. Clearing for light pen yet not getting the stunting from actual full removal!???
Just an idea?

Yeah, you're probably fine but I'd still use the fan like you plan. My veg closet is just a bigger version of your enclosure and I put a box fan on the floor in front of the open door durring lights on. It boomerangs all the hot air out right back over the top of the fan. I have my window unit set to fan only energy saver mode to bring in fresh air and exhaust stale air and to keep the temp down also. Main room stays about 70 and the closet stays about 80. My night temp goes to about 65ish on the low side also, lol.

Btw, perty sure you've already "proven" it works.....worst case scenario here is fine tuning if it even needs that; relax, you'll give yourself an ulcer. There's still a month to go or so!

20 deg. Drop is what I'm getting too and have asked the same question. Don't see any obvious suffering but could it slow things down, or even prevent buds from fully exploding to their true potential? I'm up to around 80F in day to as low as 61F in the dark.
