Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

And the rain that starts & stops everyday at the same time like clockwork. LOL

I don't like the cold. I lived in FL and got spoiled by the heat all yr round lol.

So did I Bill. But I hated the all year round heat and humidity. Couldn't drive my 442 convertible for nine months in the day time. Too hot to work on it most times. Moved here in the winter straight from Florida. Arrived at out new house with the moving truck from Florida. 1 ½ feet of snow everywhere, starting to think big mistake. Luckily a bunch of neighbors showed up with a squadron of snow blowers and cleaned everything out in no time. Then we had a big party.:peace::circle-of-love:

Can someone turn the heat back on and melt all this snow lol its 5 degrees here in TN.

TN nice :)...I used to live in Bristol (actually, Shady Valley) and Gatlinburg...5 F is super cold for there, bundle up my friend...it gonna be -20 wind chill here tomorrow...was 50 F today...I think the world is ending LOL

I have once again had helicopters coming over at night it scare,s the hell out of me
for the last 3 nights around the same time .
But yesteday morning I changed the times an the main light goes on at 5:00am then goes off
at 9am an the copter came last night at I think 10:30pm but this time it only hovered for seconds
No one actually knows tht I grow so I think they were just checking heat sig,s which last year
over an around our house was maybe a little warm:loopy:it does acare me though

Aw you lot and dreaming of old homes have me thinking back. I've been lucky, lived all over UK due to being a Publican for years. Yet all the great places I have been there will always be one special place. Snowdonia; in North Wales. My heart will always belong to the mountains :).
My family is originally from around there. We have a fair bit of land still up in the park. A couple of farms are still in the family. As well as a few other bits of land that is part of the national park. I'm not sure if its just the long family history up there or just as I spent so much time there as a child, either way it calls to my soul daily.
The mountains are so beautiful and ominous, brooding constantly with a foreboding of unrivaled power. They humble you in a very haunting manner.
I haven't been back in nearly 20 years, yet I would choose it as my last resting place even now :) I will get back their soon, as My uncle has a huge place with a separate flat attached. I need to show the missus about and take her Climbing, show her some of the most stunning country :)

Sorry lol got a bit hazy and distant there!

I recall climbing Snowdon back in the 80s when I was in the Army. As we approached the summit I could hear an engine and thought to myself "what sort of IDIOT flies a helicopter this close to a mountain in a total whiteout" (it WAS snowing). Imagine my shock when I saw a steam engine, restaurant, and PEOPLE at the top????? I honestly though I was hallucinating lol :)

Sorry to hear that Pinky. There's been plenty Flu going around; You know it's that time of the year.

Lol my dad was mountain rescue up there when he was young. He taught me every tiny bit of the mountains. I climbed from an early age :) love it up amongst the clouds. I should commandeer one of the farms at the foot of Trevan one summer and do a camping 420 retreat lol:)

That WOULD be cool....LA's 420 BOOT CAMP lol. I also recall "the cheese press" when potholing and "knife edge" up the Mountain. Are they places you've been mate? The Army LOVE Snowdon and the Breckon Beacons .....they're sadistic sods lol :)

You too LA! Very well said!

I am trying to catch up. I've been sick in bed, so bare with me 420 friends!

Hey Pinky....hope you soon feel Perky again :)

Hey Pinky, feel better soon :) Jay, B A R, OZ good green day. He he OZ yep done the potholing with school at the cheese press. As for climbing and all of the park. Honestly my family is all over the area. I was walking and climbing all over since I was a nipper. I may not have been back in years but you could drop me anywhere blindfolded and Id know exactly where I was in a second lol.
