Hey all, best of green to you all. here are some pics of Gitt showing the 6+ inches of vertical growth. Most branch ends are on their 9th node set, so are primed to explode when flowered. I'll definitely flip at the weekend as she is sooo ready!
I'll defol again probably tomoz but only lightly, then again in a couple of weeks dependent really as and when I reckon she needs it!

:bravo:LA, you've done it again, another fantastic beautiful monster. Who would have thought that your enhanced growing techniques could give this result. I guess the song is right "a kiss with a fist is better than none". Only for plants I mean. Just wish I could do this now, but it would mean killing all my seedlings and clones, so it has to wait 'til next time. I think I have room for two like Gitt.:circle-of-love::Namaste:

Good weed to ya LA being only 23 guess i'll just sit back and learn RoorRip. She is looking beautiful i think it was the first picture that showed a leaf with the tips pointing down, in your experience what causes that? I've had it on a couple i didn't notice any major problems she was still really healthy and produced some wonderful medicine but just always wondered what caused it i was thinking maybe heavy feeding? Hope you have a good weed la and may your girl give you fruits to enjoy for months to come :cheertwo:l

nhgrow; the leaves curling down like that is due to low humidity and my fan is on constantly. My area is basically set on conditions, I cant really do much to alter things so I fit around my space as it were.
I cant wait to see her in full bloom, i'm quite excited about this girl! I've never had bud sites this established before flipping ever, no where near to be honest :)
 
I tend to say not to defoliate so close to flip. She isn't really tall enough that your light can't penetrate either really. Your plant looks so awesome, I would flip, wait till end of stretch, then defoliate. Let that 21 days be all about going into developing flower and stretching. I always go into flower fully leafed. So that means at least 1 week after a defoliation before I flip.

Now I have used defoliation near the end of stretch to shut down the stretch. But that's because they were too tall for my space. And it did shut down their stretch.

Obviously do as you wish. Just offering my thoughts on that aspect of it. I love this grow LA.
 
Bassman my friend you are the great wise one; when it comes to defol. I will heed your sage advice, many thanks for helping out. Its great to have a grower of your experience and talents stopping in :)

Anyway well chuffed your gonna flux. Its looking real promising at mo and as long as I dont cock it up. Should be big on production!!! Yet small in footprint.
 
Hey LA thanks for the answer wasn't doubing your growing skills at all i just had the same problem and was curious as to what it was and low humidity sounds just about right for my grow too. I have the same problem as you if not worse so don't worry haha. 5x5x5 flower tent and 4x4x4 veg tent in my bedroom then all soil mixing, water mixing, transplanting, etc is in my bathroom but thats the sacrifice us growers make for our beautiful girls :circle-of-love:. Have a good weed LA glad your girl is impressing you and really looking forward to her showing her goods!

Harley many thanks for stopping in. She should be all awesomeness soon enough :) I read up on a short grow report on here from fishcake on the strain and he had short flower period of around 45 days others I have found say 55 days max! So Im happy, just hope I can finish her before work is commenced on my flat lol :)
 
Mate you KNOW how much I loved Gert....nothings changed there....but Gitt is a step up again :) She's INCREDIBLE buddy. I'm speechless and THAT IS a first lol :)
 
Cheers OZ, you speechless lol never! I tend to agree though! this is without doubt my best plant to date. I think my 14 mark will be a distant memory soon :). The shear development of bud sites is incredible. Never had a girl this set before flower. So yep Im a happy bunny fright now! :)
 
Lol. I'm like child dancing on spot with anticipation (or constipation lol) waiing to see what Gitt yields :) I know you're aiming high (and rightly so :) ) But how confident are you of 25-28 zips now you got her ready for flip? :)
 
I said 25 and I reckon with a good bit of stretch and the Doggett and Simpson part 3 working well??? If all goes well without screw ups I reckon ill get close as dammit if not hitting my target.
