Hey LA. So it would be ok to micro top my new girls? Interesting :) I was planning on a little light LST just opening them up so they can suck up the light :)
 
Yep OZ, it works better with medium to large size auto's. As it does stunt the growth a little but as long as you micro top its not that bad. It really gave me good results some strains I could get 5-6 off one plant. Must have done this on at least 50 or more auto's.

Here are some pics of my flower room that is just giving my Gitt and Molly Mcfly a last couple of weeks of veg. Before they both get flipped.

:woohoo: Molly's REALLY bounced back mate :) She's looking great. Git seems to pile on the foliage every time I see her :). Do you use the CO2 throughout veg AND flower ? Do you think it's an essential or just a "nice extra"?
That's great about the autos buddy. At what stage should I micro top them? All 6 have popped through and are flourishing. I'll leave it 10 days - 2 weeks before giving them a 1/4 strength feed for a week. Then increase to 1/3rd strength. Week after that 1/2 strength for 2 weeks then full on.....does that sound right to you Sir ? :Namaste::peace::high-five:
 
OK CO2 is just a happy bonus for them to be honest. It means my girls cope with a bit higher temp as well which is Ideal in my little spot. I use it all the way through apart from last 2 weeks of flower.
Around 6th node for micro topping. For feeding you dont need to be that cautious, They will grow like sh1t off a shovel. I'd leave for up to a fortnight, then half strength them every other feed. Maybe run at half strength for a week or so then hit em with full whack!
 
Forgot lol your in Coco so max without feed for auto's Id go a week, then feed at quarter rate for first feeds

Every once in a while one or two leaves find better light below most are upward stretched because of light inten. Think about it you can grow upside down if you rig for that lol it does not matter imho! I know of a 13'x13'flower room that runs good weight and has a 10'x10 tent mat on floor because light not lost is just that light not lost sir.

If you have a Homegrown Hydroponics store in your area, they carry LED panels from $139.95 to $1249.00 but they don't get any more specific than that in their catalogue. I was in a store a couple of days ago and saw a display of them but didn't have time to check them out. :)

Oh and for her fans!!!!!!!! Dan dan dah!! Gert is kicking my ass. I'm heart broken as I'm a couch lock fan through and through. Still gert is a good taste minutely citrus. Not harsh, already!?!?!?! She only gave me 7.2 all told once dry, so with the time she had left she would have still hit my mark of 10. I've had 3 separate reviews and all is good if not real good.
I'm shocked as I truly believe that my girl left to end would have lived up to the hype of being one of the strongest weeds in the world. It truly is kicking my ass :) :) :)
 
This is all Im on about with the micro topping. I dont cut anything like fimming. I just get real early on anything that will leave an open wound. oh and then some nice pics of old.

The first few were my first ever auto grows lol. The one that's a Christmas tree shape I inherited. The double header was my first. I have truly never not messed with my plants lol. not once have I just let one do its thing. Must be my ocd type personality lol! Best of buds to my biggest circle of friends! :circle-of-love:
