Light Addict's Fluxing Central - Featuring The Original Flux Journal

American girlfriends? On your "to do" list? Let me guess......Pamela Anderson, Cindy Crawford, Angelina Jolie,........:) In your DREAMS matey lol :)

No no no me and little fat Scott at school made a list of things we'd like to do before we got married.... An American was one. Any would of done lol sounds so crude I no. But we were young

:thedoubletake::thedoubletake::rofl::rofl::rofl: THAT'S worth +reps :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Are you going to use diamond mylar mate? I toyed with the idea of putting foil pizza trays (3 for a £1 from Aldi lol) on top of my round pots to reflect light back upwards. Was advised it might confuse the plants so opted not to lol :)

Well as to that train of thought I always say hmmm so all the big tent grows are confused?:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Every once in a while one or two leaves find better light below most are upward stretched because of light inten. Think about it you can grow upside down if you rig for that lol it does not matter imho! I know of a 13'x13'flower room that runs good weight and has a 10'x10 tent mat on floor because light not lost is just that light not lost sir.

Thanks for that buddy. My tent floor is fully reflective with EXACTLY that thought process in mind :)

My grow room floor is black lol
It just gets warm I'm guna Mylar it eventually

I got some 3mm thick radiator reflective with a "hammered" finish mate. Think it was £5 a 5m x 600mm roll :) Great for heat AND sound retention :)

I think that's the stuff my grow room is lined with. My 1969 Olds 442 convertible is lined with it. It cuts down heat and sound dramatically.
Has an insulation value of R4.5 too. Good stuff.

You into old cars Mick? It was one of my passions a few years ago when I was a "bit more fluid financially" lol :)

Old Cars lol. I wanted an old Dubb or ford pop when I was a Kid, to convert into a mean machine. My dad knew this and for my 17th he gave me!!!!???? A 1956 split screen morris minor to fix up.(it was a wreck lol) I was mortal upset at the time, as wasn't really gonna be able to rev up a moggy. He he it actually had semifor indicators that popped out the side.
Ended up spending a year and a half restoring her. Then made a tidy sum. Ive even thought of starting a little side business building high detail replica AC Cobra's, as you can get the kits for peanuts really then you just have to source engine gear box etc. Anyway finished to a high standard these AC replica cars fetch like 25-35 grand. Just another thing I want to do lol.

You know what you were saying about "how we think alike"? lol. Spooky mate, bloody spooky :) I'm a qualified, City n Guilds old school mechanic. I fell out of love with working on cars when ECUs etc came out. Then, when I reached a "degree of affluence" lol, I got into restorations. I've done Triumph Stags, Minis (my old avitar was one lol), Mk1 + Mk2 Cortinas.......love OLD school engineering (a cloud of memories has descended upon my head) lol :)

Oz there is a mint and I mean mint orange mk1 escort round my way
It's to die for
LA guess what's happened in my grow tonight? Yes u guessed it my timer popped. Lights ment to go out first time at 8. I came up to bed at 11 lights on fans spinning so iv had to turn it off manually and will go back on in the morning before buying a heavy duty time from the hydro shop before work.
Aww LA AC cobras are probably the prettiest sports car ever made! There's a one that lives in Tyne mouth. Me and my dad used to drewl over it every week wen we visited that neck of the woods. We looked at kits for them before. I think the rover v8 engine is the voice for a lot of them if memory serves me right
