Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Hey Lew. Fantastic score on the seeds. I bet you'll get all sorts of crazy shit in there. I have managed to re-veg my Crumbled Lime to run again as it was a really nice strain but I dont know if using a re-vegged plant to make seeds is a good idea. I have more regs now though so I am ready to go. You made it look so easy I thought id have a go.
:passitleft:
Hey P how is it? Yeah it’s pretty easy and I’m seeing hardly any seeds at all on unpollinated branches which gives me the confidence to do the odd branch on a flower run if I feel the need. I’ve been meaning to ask how did you find the French Macaron and the Wedding cake?

The Wedding Cake never got underway. It fell to damping off. We would have been half way through flowering with her right now. The French Macaron was nice though. It turned out short and stocky with tight little heavily frosted flowers.

Was it you that said it tastes of Vics vapour rub? Because I get that 100% it definitely tastes of it.

Hey 420 how is everybody? It’s bloody scorching hot here in the U.K. again. Almost unbearable especially when working in the grow space. I’ve now processed all but the Wedding cake which i chopped last night and is now hanging. In this weather I would expect it will be crispy dry in two days so I’ll have to keep an eye on it. I’ve left all the leaves on to try and slow the process. She did well though, handle the heat far better than the rest and not a bad yield at all.

Finally I’m back to a more manageable 4 plants! They definitely need a good defol but they’ve all got fresh buckets now so that can wait until tomorrow.

Congrats on the harvest, that’s some good looking flowers.
Cheers Penny, she did alright come the finish. She’s covered in trichomes the pics don’t really do her justice. Hoping for some fire from the crosses. Can’t wait to get started now but I’m not even thinking about popping any seeds until the cooler weather is back. Hope your well buddy.

Summer can be brutal trying to grow with our high humidity.
Yep and once you see it starting to affect the plants it’s game over. They never seem to reach their full potential. What with the seasons out of whack it can be a gamble anytime from April till October!

It is much cooler today. The last couple of days have been unbearable and I have had all of the tent doors open throughout the entire day. I could only get the temp down to 29C which is unacceptable for me. I got some extra fans which I aimed into the tents. It was chaos lol. I'm sure that the whole village stunk! The Tropicanna Banana drank about an inch of water every couple of hours. I had to keep topping up the tray and it caught me out a few times.

The Wedding Cake looks nice and frosty.

Go on! Pop some more beans! lol.

I saw a strain recently which made me think of you and your situation. Sinai which is an Egyptian landrace which grows in camel dung in 100F heat lol. It is literally a desert strain. I don't know if you'll be able to easily source camel dung though.

Had another squish session last night, this time all the leftover bud from Crumbled Lime twin #2. Fair play to the little Dabpress as it works so well, even when I’ve been over filling the bags it still gets the job done.

Here is some of the Chocolatina I squish a couple of days ago. It’s waxed up nicely.

It’s safe to say I’m not going to be short of rosin for at least a week!;)

Thank god I'm not running the 600 hps anymore I think I’d be gardening in just my pants! It’s no fun growing in these temps but I’m sure a couple of camels out the back garden would be a laugh. Probably get away without using the carbon filters with all the camel shit as well....winner winner! All jokes aside an Egyptian landrace sounds ace.

I'm not sure that I could get away with a single 250w HPS in my current grow space.

You could charge people for camel rides to the beach and back. I had a go on a camel once. Horrible experience lol. Its really high, really wobbly and really hurts your nuts

So unusual for summer to last more than about a morning for you guys.
Congratulations on your final harvest for this run and all that has entailed. This one’s going to carry on being productive for you for some time :high-five: it’s been inspiring.
You got cleaned up and turned around toot sweet! She’s no oil tanker - HMS Lewydeville has the turning circle of a gadfly!

:drool:Does the crumbled lime rosin taste of citrus terps?
The spent pucks - if you cut them up and run them in an EVOO infusion you won’t be sorry. You’ll get a nice potency.

Anything that keeps those fat tourists off of donkeys is fine with me
Egypt sounds fun.

Your not wrong DD the weather in the U.K. seems all over the place. We’ve had gale force winds over the last two days, which isn’t really a surprise considering me and the Mrs had put up a big tent in the garden for our daughters birthday party! I’ve got four plants ready to flower and I’m thinking I may as well bite the bullet and get a little air con unit. You know as soon as I flip them we’ll get a two month heatwave!
Just had a wake n bake dab of the Crumbled Lime and believe it or not it’s actually my first try of it. Nice flavour, sweet on the inhale like a cookies then slightly floral sour lime on the exhale. From the smell she was giving off while growing I was expecting a lime version of Tangie but it’s not and as much as I love Tangie I’m glad this is different. I’m getting a nice strong head buzz and it’s not making me want to jump back into bed so I’d say Sativa dominant. First impressions I’m more than happy.

The Wedding Cake wasn’t dry enough for seed picking last night so I turned my attention to the flower tent and gave the girls a much needed tidy up. Time is running out before I move my grow op to a new location and if I don’t flip these four plants soon they aren’t going to get a chance. I can’t wait for cooler weather so here we go again! Hopefully with just the one tent and less plants to look after I can work something out if it does get too hot again.

Quick question has anybody incorporated orbeez in with their growing medium? Since I bought the kids some recently I can’t help but think there must be some way to utilise them in the grow room? I know originally they are designed for soil but would they not help coco users with less frequent waterings and drying out too fast during the summer? I’m even thinking of trying using them hempy style just to see how they fair. I also think they could be useful for people battling low humidity by just placing some in the grow space. Definitely worth a thought.

Finished up the seed picking tonight. The Wedding Cake is certainly a stinky one and I’ve really stunk up the house after rummaging through the bud. Ended up with three full bags for the rosin press and a nice chunk of finger hash.

First press I went at a temp of 205.

For the next two bags I lowered the temp to 195 and from sight it looks a better temp for this strain. I like the waxy/budder consistency.

Fell way behind on journals. I hope all is well Lewy! Congrats on the harvest and nice squishing!!
Same here mate I’m way behind on everyone’s journals. To be honest I’ve been so busy at work it’s been hard keeping up with my own garden let alone my journal. I think the abundance of rosin might be slowing things up as well! Lol. Hope your well buddy.
