Lewydeville’s DWC Grow With Mephisto Genetics Creme De La Chem Plus Many More

Plants have responded well from the defol yesterday. Fired up the dehumidifier so all set to see some early frost. Gotta love this part of the grow, gets the excitement building seeing those bud sites forming.:D

sorry for the bombardment of photos lately. Isolation boredom is my excuse.

Gonna be some serious colas on them.
Hopefully you’re right Penny, they do look to be shaping up for some decent colas. The Wedding cake is a beast of a plant but they’ve all got potential.

Hey 420. It’s been a busy weekend for me in the garden. I’ve pollinated a branch on all the females with the Cheap Trick and Chocolatina pollen. I’ve been using a small paint brush and labelled each branch. Much like our daily lives at the moment I’ve left at least a branch distance between each pollinated area. When I harvest this should give me a good indication how successful I’ve been at keeping the pollen in the right places. What I’d love to see is no seeds on these branches, so fingers crossed. Tomorrow I should be able to get the remaining males chopped. It will be nice to have the space back and get the clones under some decent lighting.

Main Tent
It’s been cooler day after yesterday’s scorcher so the plants seem perky and some are starting to look like they need another defol already.

The Male Tent

The Crumbled Lime is a beast. Smells banging just like the female plants.

Plants are banging Lewy
Cheers Penny, hopefully it doesn’t get too hot over the next month because they’re doing well so far. It got very hot yesterday had me checking the forecast, luckily it’s supposed to be cooler next week. I was going to ask you a question. I read conflicting info on how much or often you should pollinate your buds. One technique says to pollinate 2/3 times over two weeks yet I’ve read else where you should only pollinate once or risk overpollination and ending up with lots of small underdeveloped seeds. What are your thoughts?

Wooow I missed some nice things!
Looking good as always

Hey 420. I haven’t been on the site for a week as I’ve been busy working on another project at home that’s taken up a fair bit of time. No worries though I still got plenty of work done in the garden and I’ve taken loads of pictures for updates. First up the pollinating looks to have gone well, the pistils are starting to turn orange/brown on the buds that have received pollen yet the buds on the branches that haven’t are still pure white. I’m taking this as a good sign my attempts to contain the pollen has worked, something I was really worried about as this stuff really does get everywhere! I’ve sprayed and cleaned the veg tent after removing the males but I haven’t moved the clones back in yet. I’m just glad all that pollen has been cleared! Also I’ve given all the girls another harsh defol over the last couple of days. The plants had releafed super quick since their first stripping with lots of bud sites blocked from the light.

It’s been mega hot over the last few days and the plants are showing it but on the whole I’m happy. Supposed to be cooler over the next week so hopefully they start whacking on the weight and get producing those beans!

Congrats hope you get a bunch of seed.
Cheers Penny. For a pot luck fun breeding program I couldn’t of asked for more really. I got lucky with the males and couple of these females look really good. Hope you’re well bud.
