Hi everyone, hope you’re all enjoying your weekends. I’ve been pretty busy myself. The trim has been building up in the freezer since I started harvesting plants from this journal and it was time for a hash run.
After washing my bubble bags in some isopropyl and setting my portable washing machine up I was ready to start. If anybody is interested in this process I wrote a small guide with pictures in my first journal starting at post 73.
First up I used the trim from both of the French Macaron plants. I’ve been really looking forward to trying this hash but didn’t quite get the result I was expecting. I know I let the trim defrost a little just before I started and I probably gave the trim too long in the washing machine (12 mins). By making these mistakes I feel yield was down and slightly more plant material in the end produce but still some banging hash. Check out the colour of the water. It looked like wine after a spin in the machine!
Ended up with 6 grams of high quality melty goodness. Smells unbelievable.
Next up I decided to make some hybrid hash. Into this batch I threw the trim from,
G13 x Blueberry Headband
3x Creme De La Chem
Northern Lights x Big Bud Ryder
Pineapple Express
With there being so much trim this run I decided on two wash cycles. The first just 8 minutes to take the cream then a second wash of 12 minutes to try and catch the rest.
First wash
Much higher quality this time. 7.5 grams of full melt heaven!
Second wash
For this wash I removed some bags.
I kept the 160 micron to filter the shit out.
The 73 micron to collect the higher grade and finally the 25 to collect everything else. Even being a second wash I was very happy as it’s still of a very high standard. Another 6 grams.
Not a bad run in the end, 19.5 grams of bubble. Doesn’t seem a lot but this stuff is potent and tastes out of this world.
