Finally got my hands on my new beans I ordered just before Christmas. It’s going to be a first for me as I’ve gone with reg seeds this time. I’m hoping between the two of my tents I can fill the main with females and use the 4 x 4 tent for a seed project. Here are the strains I’ll be using, I’ve popped two of each.
Exotic Genetix - Cheap Trick
Thin Mint x Tina
Exotic Genetix - Chocolatina
Tina x Chocolate Mint Chip
Exotic Genetix - Guicy Banger
The Guice x Chocolate Mint Chip
Karma Squad Seeds - Crumbled Lime
Citron Cookies x Biker Kush
I’ve also dropped a feminised strain I’ve wanted to try for a long time and that is,
Pheno Finder Seeds - Simply Wedding Cake S1
Girl Scout Cookies x Cherry Pie
I’ve chucked this into the mix as if I get lucky and find a good one it should hopefully make an interesting cross.
So they are all soaking in water and I’ve no idea how this is going to play out. Hopefully 1 or 2 males max but we’ll see!

Less than 24 hrs soaking and every seed has crack it’s shell. I normally put them into damp paper towels at this stage but had a few problems with the recent auto run so this time I’ve gone straight into the root riot cubes.
They’re now in the propagator sharing the veg tent with the two remaining autos sat next to the radiator to keep warm. Hopefully we’ll have some seedlings soon.
Speaking of autos I’ve not given an update on them for a while. I’ve neglected them over Christmas by just not having much time and they have basically just been topped up with the old res buckets from the main tent. still putting out some nice bud though and should be ready for harvest soon. The Northern Lights x smells amazing.

I’ve taken lots more pictures whilst topping up the girls in the main tent tonight. Buds are gaining weight rapidly now as we near the end of week seven.
Pineapple Express
Has a fruity, candy smell when I rub the trichomes from it’s leaves but I also get strong earthy tones when I need to move the plant around. I don’t know if it’s me but the bud with it’s yellow pistils is exactly how I imagined something called Pineapple Express would look like! Checked the breeder flowering times and they suggest it should be ready in 45/50 days! Pretty quick but I’d be surprised if this plant didn’t go another 2 weeks. I’ll have a check of the trichomes later.
G13 x Blueberry Headband
This plant is starting to get frosty now. I checked the breeders flowering times and they estimate 75 days which would give this plant another 4 weeks at least. Big fat nugs that have a banana or tropical haze smell. I hope I really like this strain because there is certainly going to be a lot to smoke!

Definitely going to need the plant yo-yos at some point. This plant is packing on the weight. It has some very pretty bud with red flecks amongst the thick covering of trichomes. Breeder recommends 63 days of flower so it has a fair way to go considering plants aren’t normally ready in their estimation.

Every grow I seem to have a plant that for whatever the reason is my least favourite of the bunch that eventually turns out to be the star of the grow! This is that plant. It’s a different pheno from her sister, however you can tell they are related. It’s been really interesting having them growing side by side. Certain colours and their scent are very similar yet the structure is totally different. The buds this plant is producing are stunning. Almost a blue tint with the most sparkly trichomes.

Yep she takes off in week 4 of flower Professor so have the bungee straps ready! Lol. How are you mate? This weather is shit, can’t get my muck work done today. Supposed to get really wet and windy later. How you finding it?
I'm ok buddy. The weathers the same as yours by the sound of it. We're doing ditch walls at the moment and the client wants concrete put in the back for extra strength. The rain is washing it out though so we can't do anything until we get a 24 hour dry period. We can only do small sections at a time to prevent a landslide. We had a landslide on a public footpath last year and we ended up having to shovel 13 tons of earth and rocks before we went home. Not doing that again lol.

Great pis Lewy! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has to wear gloves and long sleeves in the garden, hahaha I seriously fear I smell like a skunk now ! Never realized how sticky these little girls could be before my current sticky kush !

Just catching up lewy, holy shit your a pro mate. love it. The rosin looks amazing and still something I am yet to try. I love a joint t so never considered it before but seeing all the golden goodness you lot get on has me envious amazing job and looking good on the new seeds too.

Thank you very much GG. How is it buddy? For me the rosin press has been a game changer. You should check out Grandpa Tokins rosin thread for the daily eye candy. If you’re going to invest in a press I wouldn’t hesitate recommending a Dabpress as you’ll be hard pushed to find a member unhappy with their product. The bud you’re harvesting at the moment looks gorgeous and is begging to be squished! I’d love to see what colour rosin that blackberry would produce.

Hey 420. Check out the new seedlings.....I’ve only got a set of twins!! I thought I could see two heads when the seed first cracked. It’s one of the Crumbled Lime regular beans and I’m not sure what the best approach is. Does anyone have any experience? I think I might try and split them tomorrow before their roots become entangled. Lots of questions about the possibilities with breeding, could this be a Male and a Female or will they be the same sex? Nice surprise and should make things interesting.
