Let's see those seed banks!

I ordered Royal Queen seeds, 19 of 20 popped, The Original Sensible Seed Co, Black Destroyer, 7 of 10 popped. I also ordered from Cannabis Seeds.com who had them priced reasonable, well 4 out of 60 germinated, that was sad. Although all orders came to me stealth and in my mailbox within a month, one coming from England and the other two mailed from Spain. I am in Ohio, USA. First year ordering from oversea and it worked out fine. Used Bitcoin for the first time and it was flawless also. Just wish more of the CannabisSeeds.com would have hatched. I will suck up the loss of money from those seeds but will not mess with them next year.

Re: Let's see those... seed banks!

Yea, four out of sixty is sad, feel for ya. I like royal queen, glad to hear you had good results with them. How'd you get the bit if you don't mind me asking?

I store them in the original bags at room temperature because I only shop like for the next two grows at a time. If you or anyone wants seeds at the lowest cost look google The Single Seed Centre. They are in the UK and ship anywhere but Canada for $15 and it is guaranteed to arrive or they reship until it does. And for 10% off at checkout here is the discount code: DREW

Thank you for that discount code. Since you brought it up. I have ordered from them, and my experience was excellent. I screwed up my order, realized it, contacted them, my issue caused a two day delay, all my fault. But my package from them arrived the same day as when I ordered from another company without the delay. I like that place cause you can order one seed at a time. I also asked if the freebies could be autos, and they did that, too. Top notch place, very happy with them!!

420mag is also a discount code used it yesterday for jedi. Was like the 6th time I've used them.

I didn't know that, shit. Did you get that video I sent?

I was asked about how I used Bit coin dollars. First you must go on line to Bit Coin and open a wallet where you will keep your bit coins. You will then need to link up to your bank account or they say you can purchase bit coins at some 7-11's and some places to buy cards at stores, I have never seen one at a store yet. I hooked up with my 2nd checking account and just transferred dollars into bit coins. They are going that day for like 215.35 per bit coin dollar. But I would transfer like 100.00 US funds and get .450732 of a bit coin which transfers to all currency, sweet. Can take up to 4 days to make a transaction but it is complete and everyone is safe. I still have some funds in Bit coins and plan to use it more. Dive in.

I am a bitcoin expert, if you have ANY questions, please send me a message and I will gladly answer them. I have been a owner, buyer, miner, and everything else since bitcoins were worth less than a dollar..

i highly recommend paying for seeds, etc in bitcoin.. no reason to have people tracking your purchases if its not needed. If you have a smart phone(android) i suggest using mycelium wallet to store your bitcoins. Back them up, if you lose your phone, just restore the bitcoins from your backup. No more lost money.

Keep the backup in a safe, private place as it reveals your private key which is how the money is taken out of your wallet. Bitcoins are a push transaction. Unlike your credit card you hand the money to the vendor, like cash, instead of pull like a credit card. This means that the bitcoins can not be taken from you unless someone has your private key. In a transaction the vendor never sees your private key.

I suggest if you're american using coinbase.com or circle.com to buy bitcoins.

Every seed purchase I have made has been with bitcoins, and the dealers are usually very happy to get it and send extra extras as there is no processing fee's for them, and no risk of charge backs.

This time last year I was scrounging for any seeds I could find so I could grow outside during the summer. Ended up buying some schwag (heavily seeded schwag, too) and I got enough beans to grow 11 girls. But, I was determined to get a hold of some good seeds for this year.

Fast forward a year and I'm deep in beans! Not nearly as much or as many as most of you, but it's a good feeling to have some beans.

:thumb:

This got me thinking about how others kept their seeds. I assume most refrigerate or even freeze their seeds.

I'm more interested in seeing how people keep their seeds when there not chilling :)

Any nice vaults? Wooden boxes? Or do you folks leave them in the bags they ship, or dealer packs?

Don't be shy, show your goods!!

Here is my collection, let's see yours:

I store mine in rice and in the refrigerator. Diabetic strip containers have a very nice airtight seal and I prefer using them. I Just planted my last hoard free seeds... only 12 seeds. But after almost 2 years of storage I have 8 that survived. I did just receive 5 more free seeds... It may be another 2 years before I plant them :surrender:

Well they don't take pay pal. They gave me a free 1$ for signing up that's like 4200 bits or something. So I bought 240$ which took me just over a million bits. So I own one bit coin lol.

mining is a thing of the past really, its industrialized now.. you need a huge mining farm to even get one bitcoin.. when I started mining i could use my regular old CPU in my computer and get them.. generally its a bank transfer using coinbase or circle.. or your credit card, no paypal.. It's very much like paypal though these days. I'd suggest moving your coins to a wallet you own duty and not leave them at the place you bought it from. Also don't use online wallets, like Blockchain.. Whatever wallet you choose only you should have the private key.. online wallets have been known to run away with everything because they own your private key.. not you. It's good for very small amounts, but not 1 Bitcoin :)

I like having them on my smart phone, because at checkout you just scan the QR code and it does the rest.. pay in seconds, click click done. It's really an awesome thing and once you get use to it(its still young and geeky.. imagine the internet in about 1998 when we had to dial up into main frames and use boards and crap.) but its an incredible online payment mechanism without having your every move watched and tracked.

If you have questions and want to know anything just hit me up.. Glad to help, welcome to the bitcoin revolution :) Time to BYOB(Be Your Own Bank!)
