Well you know we're going to keep them in those cups till root bound so the day I transplant in those pots how would you move forward knowing that you're going to harvest in those 2 gallon potsTotally depends on how long you veg!
I'll keep saying it because you keep mentioning it, but this is your grow so you can do what suits you best:Well you know we're going to keep them in those cups till root bound so the day I transplant in those pots how would you move forward knowing that you're going to harvest in those 2 gallon pots
Got you bro I'm all ears to your advice believe me so how long will you let them stay in these cups before transplant cuz I tell you they got Roots galore I'll show you some pics of the roots laterI'll keep saying it because you keep mentioning it, but this is your grow so you can do what suits you best:
I suggest you do not let your solo cups get root bound or even close. If you are trying to maximize the space and your time it's not a good idea. You will not end up with larger, healthier plants or a bigger harvest in the end.
I think eight 2 gallon pots will fill the 2x4 well. Could you even fit eight 3gal pots in there? Lay out all the 2 gal pots on the tent floor (empty or full) and take a pic!I'm hoping that I didn't make a mistake by getting 2 gallon pots that's what I'm worried about
I don't have any 3 gallon pots at the moment but yeah 3 gallon pots would fit in there no problem because I bought some clear around water catchers to put under them and most of them is 12 in and they fit in a really good. No problem for 3 gallon buckets in that tent eight of them. Sorry I'm not able to take the pictures like that because as of right now all 8 gallon pots of the 2 gallon has dirt in them and waiting for the transplant. To get the best and fastest root growth, I would transplant them about as soon as the rootball and dirt will slide out in one piece from the cup, so you can transplant it with no stress at all. I used to wait until it needed water every day but I would find that it took longer for the plant to recover after upcan that way.
