Lemon Paradise's Little Garden - Perpetual

ona,,, so, I would say that stuff works real good,,,,

Oh yea it does... It blew up all over my order from SH LOL. It was burning my NOSE!!! But after a while it just started to smell like fabric softener. I still smell it from time to time. I gotta rewash everything, this time with either vinegar or baking soda. Either of those will get the smell out.

that does blow about it exploding on you like that,, but, at least the whole whose will smell fresh for a month..lol

Nice looking buds!! :bravo:

thats some good looking bud:bravo:

:thankyou:

I have a few pictures, but work is crazy right now,, so hopefully I can get some up during the day...

White Russian,,, this lady keeps surprising me. She is now about 5 weeks into flower,, and is already so dusted with trichs,, so nice.. she is gonna yeild a ton,, (I hope) The only problem right now, is she is so tall, I just don't have the room,, getting a little burn in a few leaves,, and definate yellowing on some due to being too close to the light,, yes,, you can have too much light,,lol

Snarksbreath,,, also getting light burn,,, but, oh, the smell coming off her buds is really nice. A very light, fruity smell,, like a blueberry type smell,, but very faint, and light,,, buds also getting frosty

1024... these two, keep getting different,, to the point that I think either they are two completely different plants, or it is just an unstable hybrid.. one is so tall, leaves are kinda different shape, even the bud formation is starting to look different.. The other one,, is a picture perfect christmas tree,,, really nice, and the buds are starting to get real frosty as well.

We got a total of 65 grams dried off the g13s, kinda dissaponted,, it was in 3 gal pots, so we figured they would have given us more than the ones in teh 2 gal pots,, we will see if the approx 1 oz per plant keeps going or if we can increase that yeild a bit..

What?? No Pics?? j/k you know us mj geeks like pictures...

Although mine are quite boring right now. Wet rockwool cubes with cracked seeds, and 2 pots of soil with seeds waiting to sprout. It's sort of like watching paint dry... ;)

Staring at dirt is better than staring at a batch of clones for 2 weeks, impatiently waiting for root growth. And I'm only in the first week. Not that I'm downplaying your mental anguish because I know how you feel!

Hi herb the G13 is nice ,did you buy a dehumidfier yet .looks like the bud rot is gonna be a regular thing other wise. With the russian coming up no doubt dense buds equal more bud rot . Nice looking clones too.:goodjob: BC

Hey BC,,, no not yet on the dehumidifier... Just haven't had the $$$ right now. But I hear ya,, I am looking over the buds every day,, Hopefully the increased ventillation helps, and that the g13 got it from our carelessness,,

I wear gloves now, so if I come across anything, it will be removed, and gloves changed before touching anything else..

been looking on craigslist,, see some for 50 bucks, so will probably pick one up soon

now, how much more juice is it going to take to run that..? lol

ok, so finally some free time,,, work has been,, well,,, work..lol we had a power outage (well 1/2 the building anyways) so 1/2 the servers came down, mand, reeked havok on the application servers when 1/2 of them could no longer communicate with the other 1/2..

also had some support boxes blow up, they were not on a UPS so it was a hard shut down, and it fried the hard drives.. so, it has been a bad week,,

anyways,, these pics were from Sat 8/14...
first off.. the 1024.. I really believe they are not the same plant,, either they are 2 different plants, or really different pheno's... anyways.. here they are..

It is real frosty,, and starting to get the unmistakable ak47 smell to it...

this is the sharksbreath,, also very frosty (the trichs are all cloudy,, unlike the g13 that started clear,, these look like thet are starting almost cloudy) so sharksbreath and 1024 tied together.. sharksbreath on the left, and 1024 on the right
IMG552.jpg

and here they are,, you can see they are like 3 inches from the glass...

we took the top off a sharksbreath,, to slow it down,, (need room in the flower room).. so for an experiment, I stuck it in a rooter, in dirt,, it will be ther for one week, and will go right into flower,, experiment.. using a v8 splash bottle for a humidity dome..

oh,, one last thing,,, been toying with the idea of doing some different things,,

I want to try the hempy thing,, after seeing Chrome's journal.. and I would like to try the bubble thing..lol I was thinking of setting up a 5 gal bucket and putting one or two clones in it... that way it is still self contained, and I can move it through the room... we will see...

Howdy herb Just looking at your hygrometer 60% wow man thats high for the bud cycle once you get into late stages boom, mold . thats what happened to me any how .I think you will have humidity prob cause your room is the the dirt floor damp basement right. Any ways beautiful plants just want to see you not having to worrie bout the FU mold issue .that white russian is beautiful. One suggestion why not get a portable AC unit that would control temps and humidity for good no more worrie. :goodjob: BC

thanks BC.. yeah 60% is high,, but better than the 68% it was running during the day..lol
yes, it is built over a durt floor,, so I know I will always be dealing with humidity issues...

I have 2 20 ap circuits going into the room (tapped from the 20amp circuits going to the bathrooms) inside the room,, I have 15 amp surge protectors, and then everything runns through those.. So, I am limiting myself to 15 amps on each circuit in the room.

I think we are getting close.. lol I have to actually add it all up,, but I do not think I have the elec capacity for a a/c or dehumidifier.. I was looking at a 40 pint one the other day, and it said something like 5 amps and 600 watts,, and I don't think I could run that with everything else...

I am toying with the idea of geting one and having it run from midnight to noon (opposite my lights), (been looking on craigslist), it would be the only way I could run it....

I figure once winter gets here,, temp is no longer an issue,, and with the furnaces running in the basement,, humidity will be less of an issue as well... (hopefully)

What about a swamp cooler dont draw much electricity or just increase exhaust cfm.. Once winter rolls around you'll prob have low humidity have to go the other way LOL Ah the trails and tribulations of growin your own smoke keep the pics coming man :peacetwo: BC

I've got 40% in my grow area, and that's because I am bubbling hydroton and bubble wands in ph balanced water, for no other reason than to test the wands, and keep the stinkin hydroton from getting cruddy... LOL

I think it will increase slightly when I get my DWC going, but I am always going to have to ADD humidity to my area in veg. It'll be great during flower though. I can lower the humidity down into the t20s just by opening up the door. That's how dry it gets here.

Where is your grow located? Nothing specific, just need to know if it is a shed outdoors, or in an area in your house? I ask because you can add things to your area to absorb the excess moisture. I swear by the el cheapo 1 dollar boil for 20 minute rice in plastic bags. Poke them with toothpicks, and place them in the room. Pick them up daily to see if they are heavy, and for any mold, and toss if either occurs. All you have to do is spend a buck. If it's outdoors, that might invite critters, as in mice, and other animals.

Anyway, just a suggestion. All I know is it worked to keep my water soluble glued violin together in Michigan.

BC.. will have to check out the swamp cooler thing,, never heard of it..lol It is coming down,, still have some work to do..

GD... I like the new avatar..
the rice idea is great,, I will try it,, I am using the damp-rid stuff right now,, but the rice would be way cheaper..lol

oh.. and it is in the basement,, dirt floor,, you can check it out here My New Room
