Lemon OG Candy Philosopher Seeds From Cannapot

have you seen my bubble cloner?... similar concept as the mister, and pretty darn cheap to put together. Amazing success rate at making clones too!
I will give it a look. Much obliged.

Fantastic, less moving parts in the tank, timer unnecessary. Very nice.

I have everything except the plant holders. Lots of extra aquarium supplies around here.
Do y'all have an official name for them so I can locate them on eBay easier?

@InTheShed this is so fun. Who knows if this will grow but it sure is cool to do. This is a White rhino. The rest range from almost like this to no root action at all.
To date they all still live. Here goes into Michigan Mix soil.

nice roots system going on :green_heart:

It's been 4 days since these have seen water and they are feeling light. Later today I'll give them a drink of 6.5 water. You see the surface of the soil is damp looking still in the pic. It's a learning curve getting the watering just right. I want to water them before they tip over, but not too soon before. These are 3 inch pots and hold about the same as a solo. Maybe a little less.

These babies are going to love you! Keep up the good work!
I started the Fall Phillies grow exactly this way. I was confident when to water. This time I was thinking I might be able to tell without the scale. Nope. Almost, but I'm bringing it down again to be on point. Why not? Nice tutorial.

I weighed a pot with soil from the bag. It felt nice and moist. 99 grams. The plants all weigh between 130 and 135 grams. I'm going to let them grow through the night. Another 10 hours isn't going to dry them to death. At 99 grams there's still plenty of moisture in there.

Good morning Em, I'm reading some of your journals and found a book "True Living Organics" you mention. I wonder if you can suggest a book(s) to put me on a good path. I think :) I'm interested in building a good soil and knowing how to and when to supercharge it in service. Understanding the cycle of the photoperiod life better wouldn't hurt either.

Having said that I have to ask myself, do I want to invent the wheel again here? Do I ask someone for their recipe? Is it sacred ground not to be asked for? Am I doing myself a disservice by not re inventing the soil. I know several members here, you included, that have very good soil recipe's and it would take me years to get to their level of quality(maybe). I guess I'm asking where you suggest I start the journey(gathering information) for a better understanding of the lifecycle of a photoperiod plant and the building blocks of soil creation and maintenance in a living organic way. Thanks.

Hi Otter! I have 3 books that got me going, and then reading on the internet supplemented all of them. The Cannabis Encyclopedia by Jorge Cervantes and The Marijuana Growers Handbook by Ed Rosenthal were what I started with, and then TLO by The Rev. showed me the way to true living organic.
As far as building my own soil, that is still way beyond my skill level. I understand the basics but I would constantly second guess all of my decisions if I did not go with a recipe that followed all the rules and then was tested for a while by other growers of weeds. This led me to the search for super soils, and I learned that there were 3 or 4 major recipes and then hundreds of minor ones that you can find on these forums suggested and used by fellow member growers. My research led me to SubCool and his heavily endorsed supersoil recipe, translated over the years into 1/4, 1/2 and even 1/8th recipes although I recognize that his changed a bit over the years and that there are competing recipes out there, especially for coastal dwellers and centering in on items easily acquired near the seashore.
As far as photoperiod plants, that is all I have ever concentrated on. I have never seen the point of growing autos indoors where I control the environment although I have played with them a bit outside so as to take better advantage of Missouri's short bloom season and tendency to start getting cold in October. Photo plants give you the advantage of being able to veg however long you need. This allows recovery from mistakes, and it allows you to grow monster plants that could never be achieved with autos, simply by vegging a bit longer and uppotting into very large containers.

Having the tent as a nursery is helping keep temps and rh in a good place. The newbies are living it up "in" the vpd zone much of their days. YES!
It is my first time trying to ensure correct vpd. I think it is helping immensely.

How are you today Stone?

I'm having a pain free morning for a change.:woohoo:

Wonderful thanks. I use Cervantes mostly so far. I find I understand it in waves going back re reading seems to lift the veil that keeps me from understanding. Plateaus of understanding I guess. I just ordered Doc's LOS book, sounds full of what I'm interested in.
SubCool's is The most used base it seems. He did everybody a huge favor sharing his knowledge. I don't know about time frame but it looks like this summer is going to be for learning and collecting and brewing for cooking through the winter. We'll see.
You don't grow autos inside huh? I find them like race cars. Running on the edge of out of control. I agree it's difficult to maximise results if they really don't like the supersoil mix, but they seem to grow like crazy even a little "off" healthwise. I may give up control easier than you ;) I don't know. Only 26 days to spring!
