Lembatoast's 2017 - Last Hurrah - Grow Journal

Won't all that nibbling by the rabbits push the plants to think they might die, so they'd create more powerful essential oils to drive away the predators? That seems to be the way these things work with cannabis.

I'll tell Mother Nature to give you a break already. She might listen to me this time. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

At least were not in Texas, you got that straight. But if we were we wouldn't be growing pot. Cause you go to PIRSON for a joint there. Any way I didn't get it to bad, I just lost this

It blew down both JDS's and one of the JD's but I was able to right them and they should be alright.

Wow 7+ foot branches breaking off sucks. They don't look that big until you see the tape. Each of those branches are more than my full plants. Was that insanely vigorous jds x UD in the planter one of them hit?

Morglie, The plants in planter #1 are Robert Bergerman Gold Leaf. The insanely large plant to the right suffered no damage at all, but the one on the left that had the 3/4 of the way done buds lost 3 big branches.

but I did salvage some of the bud to make Wax with

68 grams 1/2 dry. The plants in Planter #2 came away unscathed. The ones that took the beating were all the plants on the Hill. It literally blew 2 plants completely out of the ground, which was my fault, I was keeping them so wet do to the triple digits, the dirt was really loose. Once I get over the initial PISS OFF every things OK just minor losses in the long run. Now I'm Trippin cause I can't get the Geo-Planter to flower and I don't under stand why. I know that the extreme heat and the fact they got Spider Mites twice should set them back a few weeks, but they have been in 12/12 for a couple of months and they haven't even started Per Flowering. They have been in 14/10 for a week and we will see what happens. BTW thanks for asking. LOL TOAST

Here are some pix of the Early Budders. If all the crap that has gone on wasn't enough now there's a Wild Fire pretty close to my house and the plants are getting covered in ash like last year. It's absolutely getting ridiculous. Notice in pic #2 how the sun passing through the smoke is giving a Golden Hue to the Bud.

Thank's Guya. Hey check out the big knot at the base of the really tall plant in planter #1
DSCN15408.JPG
now that's 4 inches across and then it's almost completely straight for 7 feet

After harvest I'm going to turn that stalk into one BADASS Walking Stick, with a secret stash spot incorporating the Knot. I made one similar to what I plan to do out of Manzanita for a friend. She used it all summer and never found the secret spot in which I placed a small pipe and 3 buds of killer smoke. I gave it to her in April and for got to show her the stash spot, then in October we were kickin it on Halloween and I remembered and showed her and she couldn't believe that she walked around all that time and didn't know the handle was full of Strawberry Cough. LOL Pretty Funny

Radogast, the big fires are't any where close to me and the wind isn't blowing in my direction. The fire that was ashing my plants was just a small 2 acre fire by College of the Canyons about 6 miles away, so no danger to my self. The triple digits are over for now so things should start looking better if that's possible. The plants out side seem to be weathering the Extreem Heat and Unstable Weather Patterns pretty damn good. Taking in to consideration all that's happened there Kickin Ass. It's the Geo-Planter that is the one that is truly suffering. Now that its cooling down I wouldn't be surprised if they come back with a Vengeance. The only thing is, its going to be well into November if not December before there ready to harvest. And you know the longer they go, the more time they have to Screw Up. LOL L8R my Friend

We'll choose to believe they won't screw up. They have you watching out for them. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I have a plant in my closet standing six feet tall with a stalk that looks like your one in the planter. Never thought to turn it into a walking stick.

Well it's 10:00 pm and I went up on the Hill and grabbed those 2 plants
DSCN15739.JPG
right before I went up I got my Washing Buckets together,
DSCN157414.JPG
disassembled the plants, washed them real good and hung them on my front porch to drip dry for a couple of hours before I hang them in the closet in the dark to finish drying.
