I see what you mean there, i think personally its nothing to do with the fact its a drug but the fact it would actually lose the NHS money, as alot of patients wouldnt go there as often and thats how they get there money at the end of the day, but then in hindsight it would also drop the costs to the NHS so theres is alot of good reasoning.
I want to campaign because my mother had Cancer for 20-22 years, she smoked from the day i was born till the day that she passed in 2009, she smoked on a daily basis as it helped her deal with pain and stress and also THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE FROM THE DOCTOR '' we are now giving her 80% less Morphene, as the cannabis works so well as pain relief and help to sleep plus gives her an appetite'', she passed 10 days after stopping smoking for good and it was said by all her doctors and specialists that giving up smoking was the worst thing she did as soon as she stopped she was back on Morphene and lots of it and also a million other pharmaceuticals, she wasnt sleeping very well because of the drugs and also completely lost her appetite, these where all things she could only get by smoking cannabis.
I also used to have to get it for one of my bosses he is a VERY WELL KNOWN CHEF in this country and he has MS so i used to get it for him, he used to make teas and things but didnt smoke it, but it was the best thing he found to help his pain after a full day in the kitchen.
I believe that one day they will see the benefits but they will have to be benefits for the government and not the public.
Im only 24 and have seen my fair share of shit in this life and i smoke to stop anxiety, depression & insomnia which ive had since i was about 9 yrs old, I still go to work everyday I still do 14+hour shifts everyday and i can still successfully run businesses, its a life choice that helps me get on with my LIFE, and at a much faster speed than if i didnt smoke as id probably be stuck in my house all the time.
Sorry for that Rant over lol
