Another question, the speed controller says not to use with brushless motors, is the vortex brushless or is it ok to use a speed controller with it?

I have the Vortex 6", with speed controller, in my closet setup and it is very quiet. My brother uses the Can and it is considerably louder(might just be his cabinet though). The vortex seems to be better quality too.

Very nice Pit!! Those purple LED's still trip me out!! What starting plugs are you using in the last picture? I use Rapid Rooters and those look like a square version.

Great tip for me. My closet is similar to yours in size and ventilation is required. A quieter fan is always preferred. Tanks!

Very nice Pit!! Those purple LED's still trip me out!! What starting plugs are you using in the last picture? I use Rapid Rooters and those look like a square version.

They are called Root Riot plugs...the best things Ive ever used. they have a hormone in the plug. its nice and uniform as you can see. I love them

start out in net pots n a flood tray....veg till desired geight and bloom. stagger the blooms for every 4 week harvests.

I am planning on purchasing a tent of the following dimensions: L=1,2m,W=2,4m,H=2,0m (L=3ft,94,W=7ft,87,H=6,56ft) meaning a total space of 2,88m2 (31ft2). Also a smaller cloning tent.

I am thinking of using Led Lighting (as it will save on electricty and less heat)
I will start with 1x600w Led. How much lighting would be needed? I guess start with 1 and go up to 3x600w or 4x600w.

My goal would be to produce around 600g/m2 every 8 weeks that equals 1,7kg (2,88m2x0,6kg) = 3,81lb.

I will be doing this with people that have experience in Outdoor growth.
